Ghost
Heyho Skyrim has landscapes as LotR at some places and I was wondering, why no modder does a Music-modreplacer for Skyrim with the LotR music. I really love all the tracks from LotR and I really want them in Skyrim, but i'm not a modder who can create this. I found a mod of that on yt, but these are just a few tracks from LotR and it not includes the tracks I really want. Can someone do it with all tracks in it ? Lg Ghost Link to comment
BruceWayne
Due to copyright. TimeWarner gets their panties in a bunch if someone even so much as looks at LOTR funny. Just ask the guys making the Skyrim-LOTR total conversion mod. However, if you own the LOTR soundtrack, you could replace the soundtrack yourself. I haven't played Skyrim for a while and don't have it installed, so I don't know how hard it would be. For the older Beth games it was just a matter of dropping more mp3s in the music folder with some minor tweaks. Considering they changed a lot for Skyrim, there is a good chance that it isn't as simple anymore. Link to comment
Emily
You can always replace them manually and privately. just convert them to *.Xwm then you're good. However the challenge on skyrim music is their music are episodic and narrated. Replacing each of the skyrim stinger into Lotr required some choreography. EA games LOTR series already have a good set for those. If you can't rip it out then the only way is to Edit those music manually with audacity or Sony Sound forge. Since the original raw LOTR scores require splitting and some their tempo lowered down. For example Like that 'bridge of khazadum' contain 5 or 6 situational. - Emily is a master of audio editing in loverslab, She would ripping out anything for her creations and lark. It's just too bad that such practice are forbidden here and Emily doesn't play skyrim anymore. So, get the 'Sony sound forge' ghost and the 'Xwm converter' and do unlimited potential in gaming audio. Remember though the only wrong thing is when you share it openly on American air waves and probably get the banned just for the notion of spreading them. But surely, it's nothing wrong to use them on your own game client. Link to comment

Redflyingmonkey
Got this really badass mod on nexus, "Fantasy music overhaul". It's not as epic as Skyrim, but it really meets the fantasy standard. Just taking a stroll around whiterun becomes epic. Also, you can check out "become a bard". It comes with a custom songbook system that allows you to actually play the song you want (with other cool variants like earning money from your performances in taverns or pissing off a stormcloak by singing an imperial song in front of him). So you can put a Lotr song in your custom songbook, play it, then go kill a dragon. Edit : Just put this in my custom songbooks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ4sDn89P04 : b.a.d.a.s.s Link to comment
macomaco
If you want to put musics you want in skyrim, download the mod "Personalized Music - Add your own music to Skyrim" : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13286/? Link to comment
Lanessar
I'd say just download this mod from steam. It has many LOTR tracks on it - at least six that I've heard. There are others as well, but most of them are LOTR. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=11818 Link to comment
