I've seen referances to using something called MCM throughout the forums here, but whenever I do a search, or go through the forums, I can't seem to find it or any explanation as to what it is or where to get it, as it seems to be needed to properly start questlines is of the mods I've seen. I'd greatly appreciate any help I could get with this, and thank you all in advance for the same.

MCM means Mod Configuration Menu.

It is included in SkyUI which can be downloaded from here.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3863/?

it is here. It isn't hosted on LL. It is on the Nexus.

Keep in mind that it is for Fallout New Vegas. Skyrim has a different configuration menu. One such Menu for Skyrim is this

There is a MCM for Skyrim under tye same name but it got merged into SkyUI.

So the refer to the SkyUI as MCM in Skyrim Forums?

I thought that was the case, that is the reason I linked to SkyUI as well just in case the OP needed that one instead.

I need to start playing Skyrim again... seams everybody is having so much fun there.

Thanks for the info Truth.

Thank you all very much, I've already had SkyUI downloaded and installed, but I haven't seen anything about MCM for Skyrim included with it, there have been no option menus of any kind that I've seen are supposed to come up when in stalling certain other mods. Would anyone have some idea why that would be? I have SKSE & FNIS fully updated, in fact I've spent the past 4 days updating everything......although I don't have wyresmash as I've only heard of it briefly last, would that be the problem?

The original mod is here under the name Skyrim Configuration Menu.

When SkyUI was updated to 3.0 SkyUI's author merged Skyrim Configuration Menu into SkyUI with the author's permission as SCM was using SkyUI as a requirement at the time.

SkyUI and MCM will only load if Skyrim is launched using SKSE_loader.exe and using the latest (1.9) version of Skyrim. SKSE must be installed to the main Skyrim folder and not the Data folder. When they have both loaded properly you will see Mod Configuration listed in the pause menu half way down the menu.

Thank you all very much for the help, I've found MCM and am now using it (correctly I hope), during My search for it I discovered NMM, (was using TMM), but now when I go to launch its ctd's on Me and I have to restart and do everything, also, whenever I deactivate a mod (s) the esp file "ghosts" and becomes useless, does anyone know why this might happen?  one such mod tht has ghosted on Me I can't seem to find again, as for some reason many people do not name the esp file after the name of the mod, which makes its even harder to find/replace. If anyone knows why these files are ghosting and/or a way to prevent it, I would appreciate any help, and thank you in advance.  (this last part should probably be in a new thread?)

Perhaps if you need more help than a quick one post answer or if a couple of days go by and no response to this post.

Search for more info in LL first to make sure that someone didn't post something similar to your needs. If not then find the best or closest forum section and post it. This will allow others who may know more to respond because they will be able to see the problem. Right now only those looking to help with MCM will be coming through your post.

Are you using Wyre Bash as well as NMM as well? If that is the case then your "twitch" won't happen. It is a start...

ummm...........about a yr ago I was using wrye bash, worked excellent for Oblivion, but it was wrye bash that first started making all My Skyrim mods ghost :(  so I fuly uninstalled it, as even when installed for Oblivion, it fucked with My Skyrim.............

....then it started deactivating all My mods for both

You most likely have it configured wrong then, I use it for both and it has never conflicted with the other.

Nexus Mod Manager is the worst mod manager out there. For Skyrim your just better of drag and dropping in your game folder and then using Bash to sort the load order.
