i updated basemental but my game is saying loading its not letting me go no where nor save my game

Did you also delete your localthumbcache.pkg after updating?

 

It's also possible you have some other broken Mods that might also need updating.

 

I'd try the 50/50 Mod removal method if you don't know what the specific problem is so you can narrow it down further.
