Body Builders SE port

View File

File ported to SE and posted here with Code Serpent's permission

The following is mostly copy-pasted from the original mod page, with minor edits for the ports functionality:

Original Mod Link:

Overview

Your body, and the bodies of female NPCs, will change depending on your skills, to reflect your physical capabilities. This is done through Bodyslide Morphs. Each skill has been assigned a Bodyslide preset, and as you increase your experience in that skill, your body will become more like that preset. Your arms will become burly if you train in combat skills, your legs will become thick and toned if you train in stealth skills, and your chest will bulge from training in magical skills.

In addition to skills, you can enable weight gain, and arousal changes.

Gorging on a feast will now leave a mark on your character, distending their stomach until you rest (if Stuffing is enabled), and the more food you eat, the larger your character will become (if Weight Gain is enabled). Fasting or dieting will slowly slim your character, but illicit drugs like Skooma can also send your metabolism into overdrive, slimming your character faster.

NPCs are also set to a certain body weight depending on their level and vanilla body weight. At 100 vanilla body weight, and level 1, an NPC will have 100 mod body weight; the higher the level, the lower their mod weight. As of version 1.1, NPCs can gain weight if they eat food. You will need an additional mod to feed NPCs.

If your character ends up having a lot of sex, and can't stop thinking about sex, then they will turn into a full fledged bimbo, with all the required assets (requires SexLab Aroused). The higher your Sex Addiction (ie SLA Time Rate) the larger your assets will become. NPCs can also experience this effect.

These changes will only happen if your sleep often enough, or drink skill-based potions with the Potion Addon installed. You can also press 'Force Body Update' in the MCM.

The MCM has several options to customize how your body will change. How large you can become, and how quickly you grow, as well as options on how NPCs, both unique and non-unique, will change.

Customizing Morphs

If you don't like the Bodyslide morphs I've made for this mod, you can customize your own and import them into the game. To do this, download the Bodyslide Presets, and Bat Files, and follow these instructions. Reference the images above for additional aid.

  1. Open and make changes to the BodySlide preset to the skill you want to change. Only edit the 'High Weight' side of the preset.
  2. Copy the appropriate Bat file to the 'Skyrim' folder, one level up from the 'Data' folder.
  3. Edit the Bat folder with the changes you've made to the preset, taking the difference of the High Weight and Low Weight.
  4. Open up the Game, and call the bat file through the console: bat [Bat File Name]
  5. Perform steps 1-4 for all skill morphs you want to edit.
  6. Open the MCM and select 'Update Globals'
  7. (Optional) Select 'Force Body Update' in the MCM to see the changes immediately.

Installation

Simply install the main file, and the Potion Addon if you want it, through your mod manager. Load order does not matter for the main file, but the Potion Addon should be loaded after any alchemy overhaul.

You should select 'Force Body Update' in the MCM the first time you load the game after you install the mod, and every time you start a new character.

For armor or clothing to work you need to build their meshes through BodySlide, with 'Build Morphs' checked.

Uninstallation

Before you uninstall the mod, you should select 'Reset Body Morphs' in the MCM to reset your character's body. If you have NPC morphing enabled, you should disable that, enable 'NPC Morph Spells' and use the 'Restore Body' spell on any NPC that has been changed by this mod.

If you've lost track of which NPCs were changed by this mod, use the Netimmerse Override Cleaner mod.

The bones differ from LE. CBBE 3BBB has differently named ones, as does BHUNP. Which did you use as the basis?

I use CBBE 3BA, which has been functional so far

But you did rename the bones to the 3BA equivalent while porting yes?

I didn't change any names of anything, I used CAO and the creation kit on all the necessary files and messed around with my character and the MCM to make sure the mod was working.

It was established some time ago that some bones do not work when porting because they are named differently, the result is that  some  bones of breasts, arms, buttocks are unaffected by the mod

3ba uses different bones, it will increase values but using the bat files and editing there values doesn't change anything unless the bones match

Finals are coming to a close so I might see about taking a look at the bone names once I can. In the meantime my testing has shown the mod at large works as intended, warrior skills make you bulkier, mage skills make your breasts bigger, and rogue skills make your legs bigger. I don't own LE and therefore never used the original mod so I'm not sure what isn't working but ill try to sort out those issues if I can.

Thanks dude, I will try to quote the old thread with the mentioned bones,  for you should I find it.

I haven't tested it extensively yet but so far the morphs seem to work well.

For the Remodeled armors and clothes, I could not fine an SE version.  Is the SE version under a different name???

AFAIK if you are talking about the "Morph Enabled Armor Meshes" requirement that just means you need to have armors / a body that works with the "build morphs" box in bodyslide which may or may not be all of them. This is what I use for my armors: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32518

That would be much appreciated as my entire modding experience is just a few followers, a port of "Pirates of Skyrim", and this.

I was curious if there was a way for me to add additional sliders to the bat files and such, or if it might be possible for extra..."slots" to be added as part of the mod, so you can use sliders that aren't included in the mod itself? If not, or if that's outside the scope of what you're doing with this, then that's fine! Was just curious.

Oh, and I used my mod manager to install the potions addon, and none of the potions are appearing, even with an item spawner?

This is from Morphology thread, though in principle the mods work similarly and do the same thing just by different inputs, of course, morphology could simply affect more bones, in which case you can ignore this, but just in case here it is.

I did a little muckin about after the posts suggesting you use SSEedit to get it working properly in SSE and I think I've figured it out (at least for my version).

As always make sure to back up Morphology.esp just in case. So after opening Morphology.esp in SSEedit you would have to change the following properties in the Magic Effects section:

- Ample Breasts and Humble Breasts: switch the cor property floats from positive to negative

- Heavy/Light Breasts: Change the string from BreastsGravity to BreastsGravity2

- Very Full/Very Humble Breasts: change the string from BreastsSH to BreastsSmall2 and the floats from 0.010000 to 0.0200000 (BreastsSH and BreastsSSH don't exist for SSE and this seems like a decent workaround)

- Extremely Full/Extremely humble Breasts: Change the string from BreastsSSH to BreastsNewSH

- Large Ass/Small Ass: switch the floats from positive to negative

- Large Legs/Narrow Legs: Change the string from Legs (seems to not exist for SSE?) to LegShapeClassic and switch the floats from positive to negative

I don't know if everybody's version of CBBEmorphs uses the same names so they may not work, but i hope it at least helps

so if im to understand this correctly, this mod will "blend" presets together based on my character's skills and other values?
is this additive? or will one skill's preset overwrite the other?

As you level your skills, your body should change depending on what you level. Your arms get bulkier as you level warrior skills, legs get bigger as you level rogue skills, and breasts get bigger as you level mage skills. The changes should all be additive so levelling warrior and mage skills should give you both bigger arms and bigger breasts

Would you be able to link the thread so i can check it out for myself, as I can't find any of that in the "Magic Effects" section. These keywords do seem to exist in the "Global" tab so I'm going to edit them and see if the mod works better or stops working

edit: I am unable to edit the EditorID/FormID and as such i once again don't know what i'm looking for

I have had great experience with the mod. minus one bug around belly scaling where it was too big, reset body and forced updated fixed it.

Could you change up which sliders are used as the "new" muscle definitions in 3BA do look better, in my opinion, than what is currently being used.

Just wanted to say thanks for the 2.0 update! Looks like it is working great so far with the refactored morph scripts. That was the only thing preventing me from downloading this mod. I have it working well with 3BA. Great work!
