Compatibility issue with JContainers and Creature frame work

So I'm trying to get back into modding but I'm running into an issue where the game says

"your installed jcontainers version is incompatible with creature framework, or you don't have jcontainers at all. things will be very broken"

I have tried using older versions of jcontainers but I can't seem to figure it out. 

I wont lie I'm not really good at modding. any ideas?

Your Jcontainer version must match your game/SKSE version. Then if CF keeps giving you issues check if there is a specific CF version for that game/SKSE/Jcontainer version. If all that fails ask in the CF support thread.
