Help getting started with a base install.

Sorry for this, but I have severe OCD which sometimes makes simple things really hard for me due to how my brain fixates and loops in circles. 

 

So, as I'm struggling to find a starting point I'm going to ask here. 

All I would like is a list of 4-5 mods to build from which I can understand how and why they're working. 

 

The goal is to be simply for now, to be able to go into the game and get a female char to fuck a creature. 

I should also mention I'm on AE

 

I know I need: 

Sexlab

Creature Framework

An animation pack

FNIS

Most Nasty Critters? 

 

Are there specific versions of these mods I need and in a specific order? 

Have I missed anything/will need anything else?

Pick a mod manager and learn to use it if you haven't already.

Check the More Nasty Critters install guide has that covers specifically the creature mods.

I'd recommend you to downgrade to SE 1.5.97 instead of keeping AE/1.6+ (unless the MNC guide explicitly mentions that the mods covered in there work perfectly fine with AE).
