Question about getting Vipcxjs high heels working

Basically, my question is regarding the skeleton, as far as I know right now I'm using the maximum compatibility one, is the high heels skeleton essentially the same thing but with high heel support or what?

the old maximum compatibility skeleton will not work with real high heels.

 

You need to use Growlfs Universal Skeleton, it is the most recent and most up to date in existence.

I'm not sure, but Coronerra's Max Comp Skellie did not work for me with RHH, so I overwrote it with the one included in the VipCxj package. That skellie works with Lovers PK and pretty much everything else. Also, after installing RHH, don't forget to initialize it.

That's funny, I'm using VipCxj's skel, and BBB animations work fine.

I'm certain about BBB, not so sure about BB Butts, I think I only have one or two BBButt mods, and I did not really pay attention to butt movement. BBB sex animations do work in Lovers PK with this skellie (although the breasts blow up at one point when one of the riding animation plays).

BBB now means BB Butts as well, which unless Vipcxjs updated his skeleton again there is no support for. his skeleton also only partialy works with loverspk and for some animations and BBB body types it will not work at all.

Thanks for the info, as I did not have any issues with the animations (and the breast going haywire was mentioned somewhere as an issue with the animation itself that the author could not get fixed) I did not feel the need to look up skeleton related posts.

 

I am going to switch to Growlf's skellie.

When switching to Growlf's skeleton, be careful. Unless you plan on using Growlf's Body Resizing mod, I recommend using the Controllable skeleton, and NOT the total controllable skeleton. The total controllable skeleton will cause your eyes to roll like a lunatic unless you disable head tracking. To me this made the NPC's seem very un-personal, no one ever looks each other in the eyes anymore. The other skeleton doesn't have this, and works just as well.

I've got a question, High heels needs plugin collection v3, but v3 says it needs something like being recompiled and I don't understand any of that.

I think that is meant for mod authors that want to make use of those vipcxj plugin functions and are upgrading their mod from a previous version of the plugins. As a user you can just dump those plugins in the right folder.

 

Hope your game does a better job of keeping up with RHH than mine did though. I couldn't play it anymore after a while due to constant stuttering and frequent crashing.

You don't need to recompile anything. Just download this obse plugin and put it in Data\OBSE\Plugins\. Then, if you were trying to use RHH without it, do a clean save.

Alright, so I installed v3, got RHH working, using growlfs skeletons, and all my animations seem to be working too with no FPS drop, awesome!

Good to hear you got it working. Beware though. At first, I also noticed no FPS drop or anything. First started to go haywire on my girlfriend's pc, where it slowed down after using it for a few days. We installed chupa's version then and that only reduced the slowdown by making it happen once every 2 seconds or so, basically freezing for a second after every 2 steps. A week or 2 later my game started to crash a lot more frequently. I figured maybe it was the RHH system killing mine as well, so I disabled it and could suddenly play normally again. And it wasn't like we handed out RHH shoes to everyone so that wasn't it. We confirmed that by clean saving without RHH. Activating it again later instantly made the stutters come back. Maybe some incompatibility or maybe just too many scriptheavy mods in our game for our cpu's. Still hoping vip will someday update it because I love how it looks, although it looks like he moved on to other projects. I've looked at fixing it myself, but it's some pretty complex scripting he does and would take me too long to figure it all out, especially because he uses his own functions from those OBSE plugins the OP was about.

 

So yeah, good to know most people can apparently still use it (although it sucks that I can't) but just in case, keep an eye on it.

There is no such thing as strong CPU when you play oblivion. It's not optimized for modern processors, so all the CPU cores except one are idling.

Also there is a lot of scripts from all the mods, and they are amazingly heavy on CPU resources.

you need to include some basic information if you expect to get any kind of help. Many of those who could help you will look at a post like this and simply ignore it.

 

If you want help the first thing you need to do is to post your load order, use spoiler tags when you do it so that your not spamming the thread.

Update v.3 released move issue's Fixed

change:

4 scripts = set fQuestDelay to 1.0

set fCurrentDelay to 90 change to 01

 

Virgin on Nexus has made a patch to fix the fps performance of Vipcxjs RHHS (Reduce cpu usage) the original page

However I have uninstalled it because the foots will sink into the ground, and when I use the VipHighHeelsController it shows "Error! The parameters of the plungy is wrong".

For me the skeleton works fine, it's the FPS drop that kills RHH in my game. I have tried the fix, still my game is unplayable as soon as the RHH esp is active. Since the script runs every couple of seconds or so, my game stutters immensly, even with the patch. Which is a shame, since so many armors and outfits out there now use RHH and are useless without it. :/
