How to Pin a Post

This might be a dumb question, but I just can't figure it out.  How do I pin a blog entry on this site?

Not a dumb question but by "pinning" what precisely do you want?

I want to be able to direct a specific blog post to be at the top, even after I post newer ones.

 

I was clued in that this is possible because it allows me to sort posts by 'pinned' but I see no option to make things pinned.

The short answer is that only a Moderator can pin a post or Thread. I'm sorry that I can't think of a simple alternative that will allow you to do the same thing on your own here.

> In addition - you CANNOT pin blog entry. Nobody can even moderators for it is not possible. If it would be possible, then people wouldn't be able to see who posted new blog entry after 5 pinned entries and if they do not follow that author or if they don't have enabled notifications.
