Disgusting amounts of skin gloss/shine reappearing after sexlab scenes

I'm at my wit's end at this point, it isn't the estrusfemalebody_s lingering about in my presets because if that was the case it should've shown up prior when I'm equipping/unequipping clothes. And it isn't anything to do with Wetfunction either since I don't have that mod to begin with.

I'm convinced it's an active effect, as whenever I enter Racemenu, it disappears momentarily and after I reload my presets prior to the infection it disappears altogether ...only for it to reappear after a scene and for the whole process to start over again. It should be somewhat important to mention that this only occurs after (and during, only for a moment at the start of the animation) BJs.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks in advance.

I don't know the cause, (this is one's of the Skyrim mysteries a far as I can figure, there are many threads about it that never actually "answer" it) but I do experience the same thing IFF I am wearing a slot-32 item.

I don't know if this will help or not, but in my case, after quite a long time never finding a "solution once and for all"  answer, I've opted to install A Change of Face for an easy-in, easy-out on racemenu (no need to save n rename character upon exit). When I have the skin-glow issue, I open racemenu using the Change of face interface, racemenu fixes the incorrect order of overlay issue, then I close racemenu and the problem is solved (until the next time).

LL is working VERY slowly right now, due to whatever issues they're experiencing on their server or provider (or maybe just the intl backbone link to the states). Here's the link instead of embedding it into the text

Thank you for the reply, though I should probably have mentioned that if I don't reload a preset prior to the infection it would still be there regardless of whether or not I've changed anything in Racemenu. And an update on active effects, it's probably not it (?). I've painstakingly compared the before and after images of MGEFs and spells via console and there's really no differences besides CF cloak, which is entirely unrelated because it shows up BEFORE the skin infection.

It really is odd how this activates during really specific conditions and how your trigger is different to mine...

Looks like I found the solution... for me at least. Wet Function Redux seems to have 'fixed' it as it completely overwrites the terrible gloss that's meant to be there.

Have a go at it Anjen and thank you again for the help.
