Fashion Police - Addendum

View File

Hi and thanks for clicking!

This is an addendum to the Fashion Police project started by the ever lovely 2cool4u_1

In the attached files, you will find a couple of outfits that combine a particular expansion or games pack with outfits and accessories from Base Game. Currently, I have worked through the following combinations:

Snowy Escape (File: BG-EP10 mc dresser, 65 Outfits - 25 Male & 40 Female):

Model: Haruki Ito (M, YA) - 15 Everyday, 5 Formal, 5 Athletic

Model: Himari Ito (F, YA) - 25 Everyday, 10 Formal, 5 Athletic

Cottage Living (File: BG+EP11 mc dresser, 115 Outfits - 35 Male & 80 Female)

Model: Rowan Fitzgerald (M, YA) - 15 Everyday, 5 Formal, 5 Party, 5 Hot Weather, 5 Cold Weather

Model: Daphne Fitzgerald (F, YA) - 50 Everyday, 10 Formal, 10 Party, 5 Hot Weather, 5 Cold Weather

In every file, the outfits are sorted by model. If you don't want the certain outfits, just delete the relevant category under the models name. All outfits for a model are under a divider that looks like this:

Quote

- - - MODEL NAME - BASE GAME & [PACK] - - - MODEL NAME - BASE GAME & [PACK] - - -

I recommend keeping these dividers in your file when you copy the outfits into your existing MC Dresser file. It does not disrupt the mod.

How to get outfits into your game:

Spoiler

1. Download the .txt file you want and open it.

2. Open your Mods folder and locate the directory for MC Command Centre.

3. Open the file mc_dresser.cfg in Notepad or a similar editor.

4. Copy the contents of the downloaded .txt file into mc_dresser.cfg and save the file.

I hope you enjoy the outfits I put together. I will tackle other pack combinations, as well, eventually. If you have any requests, let me know, but please understand that I do this for fun so you might have to be patient. :)

Love,

wild_die

There are now 415 outfits for children available. They are a combination of Base Game, Holiday and every major Expansion Pack from Get to Work to Cottage Living:

  • Get to Work 45 Outfits (20 M, 25 F)
  • Get Together 60 Outfits (30 M, 30 F)
  • City Living 45 Outfits (20 M, 25 F)
  • Cats & Dogs 15 Outfits (5 M, 10 F)
  • Seasons 50 Outfits (25 M, 25 F)
  • Get Famous 30 Outfits (15 M, 15 F)
  • Island Living 50 Outfits (25 M, 25 F)
  • Eco Lifestyle 45 Outfits (20 M, 25 F)
  • Snowy Escape 50 Outfits (25 M, 25 F)
  • Cottage Living 50 Outfits (25 M, 25 F)

I recommend simply deleting the outfits that relate to expansions you don't own to avoide technical difficulties.

Let me know if there is anything in particular (outfit categories, age groups, pack combinations, etc.) you'd like to have and I will see what I can do about it. I don't intend to buy "Journey to Batuu" or "Modern Menswear", but I do own pretty much every pack and kit that contains additional clothing other than those two.

I'm currently working on outfits lists using the Fashion Street Kit. There will be a file that mixes the kit with Base Game items only and possibly later on one that mixes it with packs that have a similar fashion style to.

The Base Game & Fashion Street Kit dresser file is now online. There is a total of 125 outfits for Young Adults/Adults:

70 Female Outfits containing: 25 Everyday, 15 Formal, 15 Party, 15 Hot Weather

55 Male Outfits containing: 25 Everyday, 10 Formal, 10 Party, 10 Hot Weather

You can preview the outfits in my catalogue file; the numbering in the catalogue corresponds to the position of the outfit in the dresser file. If there are outfits you do not like, feel free to delete them. I recommend starting at the end of each model's outfit list.

As always, I'm free for pack or style suggestions if there is something in particular you'd like in your game.

Well, this is emberassing. Checked in a couple of times and never noticed that the catalogue file for some reason did not work. My bad.

You should be able to find the catalogue here: Base Game & Fashion Street Kit .

Thank you, @masure for pointing this out and I am very sorry it took me this long to react.
