[Bug] Strange black flicker out of seemingly nowhere

What it is?

 

A full black flicker of the game. The frequency of the flicker can be quite fast and sometimes it is even a full black screen.

It only seems to affect the rendered stuff, so I still see the HUD (see screenshot (its only kinda grained).

 

In some places I do not the the black flicker but a blur instead...

 

I already tried cleaning the save (and co-save) and fiddled with the Nvidia settings, but since other profiles do not seem to have that problem... well... I m at a loss.

 

I am currently trying to figure out if removing Frozen Electrocuted Combustion maybe caused that

But in any way I hope a way to repair this.

So mabye... anybody has an idea, thx. 

 

ah, the thing also started kinda "seldom" and then increased its intensity and chance of occurance drastically over time.

hmm, at least dxdiag showed no errors.

Can it be that some of the NVIDIA settings are problematic? 

 

and does nvidia even work with skse launcher?
I can only put settings for "skyrimlauncher", hmm I hate that stuff

hmm, seems to be infact ENB related... I used Vidid Weathers ENB and it is old. Just installed RUDY for VividWeathers and it seems to fix the problem. Hope it does not return...

I use Vivid Weather and its ENB. Havent seen bug. Not saying VIvid Weathers ENB wasnt part of problem but seems like something else would of had to of been in play.

maybe a combination of driver updates and whatnot.

Vivid weathers enb is very old and maybe that played a part. I never had any ENB related bugs or problems before, so this is new for me too. RUDY at least works flawless.

 

I will try to double check with other ENBs too tho, but later.... too happy it is solved for now.

I use vivid weathers, too.

No problem so far.

Rudy is much more demanding for the Graphics.

Use a 2080 RTX and not very latest driver, mighbe a months old.(version 1 or 2 before latest)

I have RTX 2060 SUPER and latest drivers.

Updating the basic ENBoost files to latest version alone did not solve it tho, only the full switch of the ENB.

I m a bit worried that it is a underlying problem that builds up slowly (because it got worse from the point where it first occured) so I m just playtesting with RUDY now (which performs no frame less good than Vivid Weaters ENB somehow) and see...
