Questions about beach lots

Hi guys,

 

Do you know how the game behave to send sims on a specific lot (in this case, beach lot)? For some reason, on custom but also vanilla world (Salmon Woods & Sunset Valley), beach lots stays empty, even if I send an active sim on site. And in other world it is work perfectly fine (Isla Paradisio, University, and also customs worlds).

My current game build V 1.67.2.024037 with all the expansions and the game is moded with NRAAS, last build of KW 409 and some other stuff picked on mod the sims.

 

So if you have any information about how the game work to send sims around or if there is a way to force the game to do it with a mod like MSCMOD (setup an amount of visitors for your bars, night club ect...), your help will be appreciated!

I can't say specifically just how the game distributes Sims not working as I've clicked a portrait from the tab and had the camera moved to some lot where they may be alone just hanging out. Other times my camera remaining on an empty lot seems to tell the game to push Sims there and some will immediately leave because they probably have something to do.

 

I use both of these but can't say if they'll help the 'population'.

I already use the "fun in the sun". I have set up a new game taking place in Safron Bay who had 2 beach lots and a lot of others community lots on the map. Despite the fact there is a large amount of community lots, the game manage to send Sims at ALL those spots. Maybe, those things are setup uper in the food chain, something to do with how the specific world map was build in the first place. I use the same NRAAS settings on each save, same with KW (with minor variants, such as rapists, peeping, depending on what atmosphere I want on my playtrough)

Many Thanks Landess for your insight, I guess, my next logical move will be checking NRAAS Traveler and/or Mover settings with more attention.

Since you mentioned that some beach lots do work as expected, perhaps the issue is with those specific beach lots.

 

If you edit the town/world you are using, are the affected beach lots using the "No Visitors Allowed" lot type?

Beach lot are setup with the proper type. I will try to build a beach from scratch on a world where the beach lots didn't work.

I came across this problem in the past. I tried allot of different mods to push sims to visit beach lot and other lots in CC worlds. But, it seem to only happen with CC worlds and not the general worlds Bridgeport and other in game worlds.

Also make sure they are set to "visitor allowed". All the community lots can be either visitors allowed or not allowed, and non-active sims won't be pushed unless visitors are allowed.
