Pak converted to Winrar/Zip and won't work at all.

Ok, so a few of the mods I got are pak files, when I got them, they had nothing to be opened with, I had to choose what to open them with, I selected Winrar and it's now saying that the file is damaged, I've tried looking up what to do and it's not being that helpful. These are the mods.

Edit- I managed to get it back to selecting a program, what do I do from there?

Nothing. They're not compacted files, they're just the mod itself. Put those in the mods folder, or learn how to use a PAK management program like PAKit.
