Kitsune1991 Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 Hi. sorry to bother but is it possible to duplicate the addon dress 143 so that I can load multiple texture sets? If it is possible, Can someone explain to me how it could be done?

Kitsune1991 Posted March 2, 2022 Author Posted March 2, 2022 Quote No need. if it is activemod enabled, you can have as many textures active as you want. I don't know how to check if its activemod enabed as you say. the only way I can get textures to work is to put them in the txx itself.

"Activemod" retextures of clothing will have the same icon as the base addon but with a different name (the name of the folder in your Activemod folder.) If you already have activemod versions of the dress (simply search your Activemod folder for "*143*"), all you need is to make a copy of the folder and edit the textures inside. If you DON'T already have AM textures, you can usually figure out what the textures should be named by looking inside the addon ("Images\Q=Tex032M\Shared\Cloth\"). Simply copy the texture (and .txf file) to a folder inside Activemod, and edit the texture however you like. Only old TK17 v7.5 addons might not have AM enabled (that's what "Script" files were for). In VX, they all are by default.

I then took those textures and moved them into the activemod folder itself which ended with the same result. I should've mentioned I'm using VX. Lemme point to the addon I'm struggling with.

I'm not familiar with that one, but it doesn't sound like it's ActiveMod compatible. Some of the old ones aren't.

Okay, I tried and it works fine. There is something usual about the addon though. It includes 7 different textures, but there is actually only one addon. Textures 2 thru 7 are all blank. If you wish to retexture the addon, only use "R9Dress143Masterofth_Dress_1.png". Ignore all the rest. Place the texture (DO NOT RENAME) in a folder inside Activemod. You will find your texture in the "Dress" category with the name you gave your folder.

So I just tried what you did, however I noticed an activemod.bs file that came with it. What am I suppose to do with that? Again, I tried everything everyone said yet somehow no textures outside the txx seem to work. I'm stumped out of ideas. I uploaded some files to show that I'm not trying to waste anyone's time. the txx is what I have to do in order to make the textures work. My activemod folder is how it looks currently. I'm thinking I should "nuke" the game from my computer then try again on a fresh install. R9Dress143.txx ActiveMod.rar
RidSol Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Your .txx file contains the activemod folder ? ...take the attached file for VX and put it in addons, the activemod.bs is already in there. If the "nurse" file is also in the activemod file, you should be able to select two dresses R9Dress143.... 000.Masterofth R9Dress143.zip

I'm thinking I should "nuke" the game from my computer then try again on a fresh install. The txx you uploaded does not contain an Addon. It is merely the contents of the "Images" folder from the original addon. Use the version "RidSol" provided above. Your Activemod archive contains textures for 17 different Addons. Only the "Nurse" & "Police" folders actually contain textures for use with Addon-143. "Cow suit" retextures various stock clothing items, so it doesn't need an Addon, but has nothing to do with 143. "Rocky Doll", "Wanda" & "Wet set" all contain skins. If you install them, you will find those in the "Skin" section on the "Body" tab. CORRECTION: I mentioned yesterday that Addon 143 contained textures for "7 different addons" and that you can "ignore textures 2-7". First part was incorrect. Second part is mostly true. The additional textures are for optional features on the clothing that "Masteroth" apparently did not use with the default clothing.

Sorry for the late response, but I made a mistake with the txx I uploaded last night. So thanks for pointing that out to me. On another note, I don't know how but when I put the txx file y'all pointed me to by some miracle the addon worked as it was intended to. So allow me to express my gratitude to everyone who helped me. I'm aware that some activemod textures I uploaded had nothing to do with the addon, however I thought the textures were the problem at first. TL;DR: Thank you all everything is working now.
