Suggestion - auto tfc (optional)

Hi,

note: toggle free camera is the console command tfc.

After trying out the mods found on Oblivion, I noticed that almost all of them auto toggle the free camera (tfc) when a scene starts, then toggle it again once it's finished.

I think this would be a great addition to SexLab as an optional feature.

I'm actually wondering why this hasn't been implemented yet.   Perhaps there's something in Skyrim that bugs it, or it's already there and I completely missed it :)

P.S. is ever you decide to implement this, I'd suggest you also add a slider  for the variable sucsm which controls the speed of the free camera.  I find the default to be too fast but some people prefer it that way.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean you are stuck in "over the shoulder" view when the animations start? 'Cause you can freely rotate the camera, usually. I found that this only works properly when I sheathed my weapons prior to running the animations, though, or I'd be unable to move the camera.

Actually it's pretty straight-forward what _Rej_ is asking for.  Instead of the current 3rd person camera where you are locked into the distance set at the time the animation starts (yes you can rotate it, but you cannot change the distance), it instead switches the camera to tfc mode which allows the camera completly free movement.  You can do this through the console after sex starts, but he's looking to have sexlab do it for him.  And I agree the IF this can be done, it should be.  However, I know there were issues in with other sex mods where if the animation ended before getting out of tfc, sometimes the controls would get locked requiring the going into the console and using a command to free them up or sometimes I had to quit (to main menu, not to desktop) and restart to correct.  Didn't always happen to me, but frequent enough to be an annoyance.  With AP, there was a visual cue when the animation was about to end, so it was easy to turn off tfc (the buffs applied about 5-10 seconds before animation ended), but SexAddict, SexIS, and SexLab do not have a (blatant)  visiual cue like that to show the animation is ending, so you have to rely on knowing what each animations last stage looks like or you might run into that locked controls.  Frankly I haven't used tfc in such a long time that this may not be an issue anymore (but I doubt it).  Another option I would suggest is a slider to adjust the distance on the 3rd person camera when sex animations start.  I tend to have the 3rd person camera as far back as possible (without use of mods to change that).  Right before the animation starts, I move to camera in closer (but not TOO close, some of the animations are off-center of the camera).  Having a slider to adjust the default distance would be nice, and possibly a(nother) hot key to adjust the distance during the animation if tfc is too much of a hassle (if the distance hot key is not already there...)

no it's not. vanilla game and skse has no option to allow this yet. Dragon script is the only way to use tfc through commands. Or else this would have been done ages ago.

Skyrim is no oblivion. obse team has been fully thinned out. most of the major coders in oblivion days are long gone. Only some are still around. But there numbers are dwindling fast.

What I meant by "pretty straight-forward" was about the way he was asking for it - in other words, the request itself shouldn't have been confusing (which I thought I made clear in my sencond sentence, but oh well...)  Being able to actually do the request, yes that is not straight-forward.  If so, it would have already been done.  There are mods now that do not require ScriptDragon to mess with camera stuff (not TFC unfortunately).  Mods like:  http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37347 .  This allows you to change the min/max distance which is what I was suggesting if TFC was not doable - have a preference within SexLab to set the distance to a user defined distance when the animation starts.
