WW Mod Breaking Sims 4 PC (Please Help)

Hi all! 

 

I downloaded the WW mod through Nexus then installed with Vortex and its completely breaking my game. If the WW mod is enabled, I cannot have my sims interact with anything except each other (no showering, sleeping, cooking, etc.). I have checked to make sure the mod is installed properly and all files are present where they should be and I can't find anywhere where someone else is having similar issues. I have made sure my game is fully updated and I do not have any mod blockers on. I've had the mod before and it worked just fine.  Any ideas?

Why did you use programs that are not needed for TS4 mods? To install, simply copy and paste the folder 
WickedWhimsMod folder in the mod path of the game.
Also delete the localthumbcache file

So I’ve tried that route as well. It doesn’t matter how I do it, if the WW mod file is active the game doesn’t work. All other mods are totally fine and don’t cause any issues.

Yes! If it’s enabled in vortex the game breaks, if I uninstall vortex entirely and put the file directly into the mod folder the game breaks. I have no idea what the problem is.

I asked for the game and mod version, they may not be compatible.
Vortex or any other mod manager is NOT for The Sims4.
Try this:
1) Backup (copy the folders to another location e.g., the desktop) the folders you find in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4.
2) Delete the Electronic Arts folder
3) Start the game to create the new folders. In the game settings, under Other, enable custom content and scripts.
4) Make all the settings you want, then exit the game.
5) Unzip the mod file WickedWhims v167d, find the folder WickedWhimsMod, copy it and paste it in the path  Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims4\ Mods.
6) Start the game. At the beginning of the game, you will receive a notification (in the upper right corner) that the mod and the Turbodriver script have been installed.
If this works correctly (the mod already contains at least 1000 animations), exit the game.
7) Delete the localthumbcache file, install any mod you like without using vortex or anything else. The Sims4 mods do NOT require a mod manager to install.

Actually it only has a few test animations included.

 

Animations are made by different authors and must be downloaded separately.
