Testing new stuff from git.loverslab

So I have followed the instructions from the FAQ and synced with the website.

Is there an easy way to test out the new animations since the MCM options doesnt seem to include a check box for these yet ?

I tried renaming some of the files so I could use them in place of some of the old scenes I didnt like too much, but that seems to cause timing and clipping issues.

The animations haven't been added to the esm file yet on the repository, they've merely been uploaded by Arrok. Which is why there's no checkbox for them and they won't work yet.

Lucky for you, I'm was literally in the process of doing just that when I got distracted writing this reply, updating the esm on Git to have the new animations Arrok has uploaded to it.

Unlucky for you, the current version on Git also has a major bug that causes all active running scenes to change stages at the same time rather than independently. A fairly major bug in usability if more than 1 running scene at a time is important to you.

Ok synced to the latest version, everything works now but the clipping and sync of the new scenes is quite bad so I wonder if I did something wrong.

I will say that the lip sync to the moans looks to be working really well.

Also, the toggle colission is removed from this version as far as I can tell.

It was removed in favor of being integrated directly into the animations that actually need it to function.

Alright cool, I wonder if thats what is causing hiccups with the 2 new scenes being so clippy and all, the actors are litterally standing inside each other.

The 2 new scenes haven't been tweaked yet for positioning. But more likely has to do with where you were standing when the animation started.

As a side note, since your using it; I just pushed another fix to the git that has a fix for the major stage advancing bug I mentioned in my first reply, and improved sfx/moan loops.

Nice.

I synced to your latest edition. The lip syncing is generally really good.

Some of the moans could stand to have the mouth open for longer if possible:

Male moans seem fine to me.

Voice 01 "Classic" seems fine

Voice 02 "Breathy" seems to have a good length.

Voice 03 "Young" seems to be short in quite a few cases, especially the parts with "double moans".

Voice 04 "Stimulated" seems short in a few places, mostly during the first part.

Voice 05 "Quiet" Seems quite short during part 1, with the "ohh....yeah" moans, it closes before she says the "yeah" bit.

Voice 06 "Excitable" seems short as well, mostly during the 2nd part of the scene.

Voice 07 "Average" Seems mostly good but a little short on the moans where she breaths in afterwards, those could use another 0.5 sec.

Voice 08 "Mature" seems good.

Voice 09 "Deep" seems good although the really long moans in part 3+4 could stand to be longer by quite a bit.

I have tried the flattest most open areas I could I find and still the 2 new scenes are very clippy, they seem really interesting though so once they have been optimised for position I think they will be really good.

Just out of curiosity, is there sync for the eyes too ? Like closing eyes while moaning and lip sync kicks in (maybe randomly at 50% chance ?), I think it would make the whole thing quite a lot more "natural" looking instead of having just lip sync.

I've pushed another major update to the development build. It now has stage independent offsets, so you have have different saved position adjustments for different stages on a single animation, rather than 1 saved adjustment for the whole animation.

I've also added an option for animation stages to have a character open it's mouth. I've added it to just a couple animations for testing, so not every animation that calls for an open mouth has it just yet. Only done a quick test, and in it the character didn't close their mouth after changing animations to a non-open mouth animation, so still needs more tweaking, your mileage may vary though.

There's 3 moan types a  voice can use; mild, medium, and hot. These each have their own lip sync file. However voices do not have their OWN set of 3 lip sync files, they all use the same 3 lip sync files for mild, medium, & hot.  The sound file of the moan has zero bearing on the lip sync itself, very likely never will.

Making a different lip sync file for every sound file would be a massive pain, a huge time sink, and a major waste of resources.

I'm not aware of any scripting method for controlling an actor's eyes. So doubtful. Unless somebody comes along and shows me how.

I said the same of open mouths during animations just yesterday, so who knows.

Cool.

Im not a modder, so if the stuff I suggest/comment on is utterly unfeasible that's fine and I appreciate the explanations why :)

I can't see this option for the open mouth in the new version, I have synced it to the lastest version but I cant find this option anywhere.

The beta versions of SexLab don't seem to register the Aggressive sex scenes in the sex journal. It performs the scenes just fine and it picks from the correct list but it doesnt go in the sex journal.
