*edit* Reading your posts... you make the changes in FLVER? Is there direct mesh manipulation (i.e. move/add/delete verts/edges/faces) in FLVER, or do you mean just removing the appropriate mesh index?

 

*edit2* Ok. I've found them... and they aren't fun to use. Unfortunately, not what I needed for my stuff, but sufficient for removing parts of armor.

 

Well, looking forward to more of your armor edits. Enjoying that Lewden Ring!

You can edit vertices and remove faces. Move, scale, remove meshpsrts. Not much at all but i still dont understand how to restore skinning on imported models from 3ds max and blender.

So we can use our old regulation.bin, and save file. But not the new regulation.bin from this update and our save file?

I was able to load my save with the updates regulation.bin, just things were a little, wrong. 

I backed up my modified regulation.bin, did the update, unpacked, patched, re dumped in all the mods, patched again, and workded fine.

I tried yapped on the new regualtion.bin, seems to work, loads the save file too, so idk. Im going to play for a bit to see if anything isnt working, but seems to be ok.

Only thing I can see wrong is the map. Boy....is it messed up. So what sucks is we will have to wait on a new version of yapped.

I have  slightly off topic question regarding yapped and the regulation.bin. I am getting htings to work , but I need to know how to change the load, carry weight for character in yapped, like what param is it found under? I can get to all the weapons and armors fine and edit what I want, I am just trying to edit all of it and make a personalized regulation.bin to use.

go to Alter Body in Cosmetic iirc, there is option to toggle between normal and "fire" look

Open Yapped

go to File

click on Dark Souls III

select Elden Ring

 

Yapped works for different games so you need to select Elden Ring or it will look for other games' files

 

Oh wow, could have figured that out myself if I was just a bit more patient. Thanks a lot!

is there a yapped version that reads names properly currently.

the update seems to have messed the naming (all are numbers now)

i know i can refer to the lists to get the weapons but pre updates yapped had the names sorted and i could even search them on the spot

any news regarding deathbed dress body shape ?
