Elden ring nude

I know the game isn't out yet, but I just wanted to make this thread ahead of time to show the demand.  I don't anticipate it will be hard to make a nude mod given how simple it was for the dark souls games, but whether the model actually looks good will be the real question.  DS1's was OK, DS2's was horrifying, and DS3 had a really nice body.  If gedosato/igp11 works with the game, we could have a nude mod as soon as the first few days after launch.  Hopefully the wait won't be long...

It would be a welcome addition for sure. We just have to hope that their EAC implementation doesn't stop file modifications. But I guess that can simply be disabled and played offline with mods in that case.

Just updating to say that some people with the game early have tried offline mode. EAC still runs and it can't be disabled in the standard ways. So it looks like modding is currently off the table unless someone figures out a way around it. It also bans, not softbans. No family share either. So if you get banned, you buy another 60 dollar copy of the game. Not looking good my dude.

Is Elden Ring just Dark Souls? I haven't looked up anything about it in terms of what outfits and designs it has.

Not really. It has a bunch of larger interconnected areas but they're very linear with a few branching paths here and there. You have to tackle it in a set order with very little choice. This game is an actual enormous map and you can go anywhere at basically any time. Its much much much bigger than any of the other games.

Wait, so if you get banned, you can't play the game at all?  I thought you could still play it but just wouldn't be able to access the online features?  I personally don't care for any of the online stuff, as I've played all the other souls games offline.  And I truly do not think From is stupid enough to ban people for graphical mods, so even if that's how it's working currently, I can't imagine they wouldn't change that in the future.  And if they are, then I guess I have no choice but to crack my legit copy.

That is the info that was flying around from the streamers playing early. I can't confirm it myself as I have not been banned =P

I just applied the file like I posted and launch the game without Steam and EAC. I guess we shall see if a ban comes in the future.

To correct banning misinformation:

 

No, you do not 'lose access' to the game if you violate anti-cheat.  You get put into a pool of known-cheaters and will not be able to connect to other players that aren't on the naughty list; so you won't be able to play with friends, will have far less invasions etc.  If you don't care about online play, cheat to your hearts content.

 

I'm investigating using NetLimiter to block EAC, (start_protected_game.exe but not the main game executable), that seems to still permit online play, I'll try applying the UltraWide fix next...

If you use mods/cheats in offline mode, can you still get moved to that cheater pool?  That wouldn't make any sense, because you are not affecting anyone else.

How to disable EAC in Elden Ring

We're using Steam for this guide:

1. Go to the Steam library location where you installed Elden Ring.
2. Go to steamapps > ELDEN RING > game.
3. Rename start_protected_game.exe to something else. (I added "_original" to the end of the file name.)
4. Make a copy of elden_ring.exe.
5. Rename this newly made copy to start_protected_game.exe.
6. Run the game through Steam as normal.

Elden Ring should display a notice that offline mode has been activated. You should now be able to enjoy the game (albeit a little more) without the anti-cheat software running, but you won't be able to participate in online play.

I doubt it.  However, my attempts to disable EAC with simple netlimiter rules was unsuccessful.  Flawless Widescreen couldn't hook the resolution ?  No EAC warnings or errors though.  At the moment it's seeming like we can have legit online or mods, but not both ?

I know Xenoverse 2 had EAC and you could bypass it to play with mods. Ofc you couldn't play online doing that but I'm hoping thats the worst case scenario here. Just a simple bypass and having to play offline don't seem like a bad tradeoff for mods

This game is trurly amazing. Personally I don't know how to mod Proprietary Engine games but I am very hopefull that nude mod will be released. One thing I can do is to create some nude art for it, maybe it will inspire some talented modder ?

This is the discord for all souls modding.  What we really need is for uxm and soul outfit manager to work on Elden Ring.

This was already working for mostly all of the souls games.  So those tools plus a good nude body is all we need ?  So I’d keep your eyes pealed here.
