Failed to add actor list as it either contains to many actors placing the thread over it's limit, none at all, or an invalid 'None' entry

Papyrus.0.log

hi all

I have a problem that when Sexlab Approach triggers SLHH (both "baka-edition" from closefactory) after conversation, nothing happens. Instead it just ends awkwardly and I get the messages in title.

Its exact error message is SEXLAB - FATAL - Thread[0] AddActors() - Failed to add actor list as it either contains to many actors placing the thread over it's limit, none at all, or an invalid 'None' entry -- [[Actor < (00000014)>], None, [Actor < (000198E5)>]]

It seems to be certain NPCs especially, not all. It works sometimes, and sometimes not. I'm not sure if its SL, SLHH or Sexlab Approach that is causing the issue.

I've tried stopping all animations in SL, and I've used the 'Clean System' feature as well. I've tried running it with only bare minimum mods, but still same bug. Different skeletons, reinstall of the affected mods, rebuild animations registry, run without Unofficial Patch, cleaned the save with reSaver, and what not else.

I've read through the other posts in this forum, but none seem to match my exact problem, and none of their solutions has worked.

I've attached the papyrus log, and if anyone sees anything obvious in the log, I would greatly appreciate if somebody could point me in the right direction.

What kind of NPC it doesn't work with?

It seems to be quest NPCs and other unique NPCs that the usual culprits. (Humans ofc)

I know for a fact that Thonar Silver-Blood never works, it always bugs out with him. Madanach is another one.

Note that it has two actors in my original posts error message, but usually the message is as follows:
Info: SEXLAB - FATAL - Thread[0] AddActors() - Failed to add actor list as it either contains to many actors placing the thread over it's limit, none at all, or an invalid 'None' entry -- [[Actor < (00000014)>], None]

With just Actor and None.

Sadly I can't remember having that issue, so I was never forced to solve it. Maybe ask in the related mod topics? Especially if it's only happens for scenes triggered by Factoryclose's mods.

Other things that might be an issue:

Not enough animations to choose from?

Not using Baka SLA or SLAX?

SLHH and SLapproach redux have an allergy against unique NPC?

Does it look like I'm poking clueless in the dark?

Lots of those, as if it's searching something armor and gives up.

Which brings me backto the question if you use Baka's Sexlab aroused version or SLAX.

And my last idea: is your PC on an important quest and flagged as busy?

Thank you so much for all of your suggestions. Highly appreciated.

There's definitely enough animations, I'm using FNIS XXL just to handle them all. If anything, I have too many.

I have tried both SLAX and Baka SLA. No change.

Hmm.. I think it happens irregardless of progression in game. This is an 'old' save, but I've tried it out with both a brand new game, and my existing one. No change.

I'm not wearing any DD that I'm aware of.  I actually see now that I'm running a older version of DD. DDI is 4.3, DDE is 4.3 and DDA is 3.0.
I'll try updating those and get back if it works out. It would just be strange, as the scenes shouldn't call upon any devious devices.

Also check the requirements again, there are some unusual ones like: - powerofthree's Papyrus Extender LE

I strongly believe that I should have all requirements, I'll look again. Powerofthrees Papyrus extender is installed and updated, that I'm sure of.

That is what I'm suspecting. That these NPC's are flagged as having actions queued, which makes them unable to be "caught" by SLAPP and SLHH. It's just strange that I'm the only one who reported this as an issue, unless everybody else knows that these NPCs don't work except for me.

Again, thank you for all of your input.

Well, I just tried again.

Completely new game, DD 5.1, everything checked up.

No joy.
I guess some NPCs just doesn't compute with SLAPP and SLHH.

That's the conclusion for now.

aaah just saw that now.

If any you are better of with DD4.3

If you update to DD5.1 you get a not deactivate-able filter AND you need a new game.

Did you ask in the Baka mod topics?

I didn't try SLAPP and SLHH yet (or to be more precise only used the older versions of SLHH)

I might be totally wrong, but don't they only work with males?

If you say that happens with new games too that's bad, I hoped (I mean as an excuse not of evil intent lol) your old save might be fucked up.

There might be another issue. If you have custom mods installed that are unknown to SLARbaka and SLAX you would need to add tags to them yourself.

(or it's just a baka mods glitch)

I wouldn't be surprised if others have the same issue, but don't recognized it as such.
