Attractiveness and Archetypes effect on relationship progress?

Hi! I have a few questions that I couldn't find the answer to in the forums.

 

1. If Sim A thinks Sim B is attractive/unattractive, is relationship progress faster/slower, respectively?

 

2. Which archetypes are compatible? Or are they only compatible is they have at least one archetype in common?

 

3. If two sims are compatible, is relationship progress faster than if they were not compatible?

 

4.. If Sim A and Sim B have one archetype in common, does using the social interaction marked with that archetype's icon increase relationship faster?

Archetypes have no effect on relationship gains as far as I know.

 

But in the Wicked Settings there is a switch to enable relationship gains when having sex but it applies to all sims your player/s have sex with.

 

The only other way to increase relationship gains very quickly is by using/building the Micro Home(32 tiles) and the Tiny Living Residential Lot Trait rather than the regular Residential

Lot Trait.

Of course you also need to have the Tiny Living DLC installed for this to work.

Oh. So what is it FOR, then? The description on the Impressions page says this:

And the description on the Attractiveness page says:

And when they get to socializing, being attractive makes it so much easier. Your every word creates an aura of romance, and your jokes seem to be a little bit funnier. Building a relationship becomes a lot simpler, although it’s the opposite if you’re seen as unattractive.

Honestly I've no idea since I disabled it long ago when it didn't seem to do anything.

I just use high charisma skill and some trait rewards and some other tricks to level relationships faster.

 

You'll have to experiment with it unless someone else chimes in with a better answer.

I've never found WW Attractiveness to make any difference with relationships either but maybe things have changed now with the latest version.
