smart watch/fitness watch recommendation

Hi folks,

I am looking for smart /fitness watch.

Does anybody have experience with these stuff? I am totally lost and don't even know what to look for :D what I want is something, that combines the smart watch stuff with a fitness tracker arm band.

Preferably something that does not look a new modern smart watch, more like an "old mechanical" watch :D

Price is not important, but I don't need stuff for $1000 or whatever.

And please don't just post links, would be good if you are using the watch yourself or so.

Oh and it needs to be compatible with android phones (google phone)

thanks :)

@thacloneI think you're going to have a hard time finding one to fit that "old mechanical" watch look. I can't help you too much because I use an Apple Watch, but you can change the faces, which can at least give you the "look" of an analog watch with some of the other models/brands out there. I would recommend the Garmin ones. They have features to track something as simple as taking a walk (how long, how far, pace), remind you to stand more often for a certain amount of time. My neighbor uses one of the older Garmin watches, but maybe this will help a little.

well that leaves us with a lot fewer options. some are still pretty good tho. if you want a rather cheap, mechanical looking smartwatch, that does its job and can be worn for 2-4 weeks without a recharge: https://www.fossil.com/en-us/products/hybrid-smartwatch-hr-neutra-stainless-steel/FTW7029.html

its still mostly mechanical looking but has the small configurable display in the middle that shows the important fitness stuff. can be worn to any type of event and with 45 mm in diameter looks good on most boys wrist.

A bit late, but I'd say Garmin. Master and I have been using that brand since it fulfills the purpose and you can find them priced from 60$ to 600$ and more - I think.

I'm not too sure on the prices since I didn't buy it myself but I think I saw prices ranging between those numbers when I glanced around online stores some time ago. They're rather robust - even the cheaper ones, says a friend's testimony - I threw mine on concrete like a dumbass and it scoffed it off with not even a scratch and intact glass.
