Is this site having issues or is it just me?

I just joined a couple of hours ago and started downloading some files and then an error message popped up saying that there down?

I mean correct me if i'm wrong but there isn't anything in the rules against downloading too many files is there?

I get this message very often right now. It started yesterday for me, and I can't really do anything...
This took forever to post.

What happened?

I'm in the UK. I haven't done any downloading today but I've been to the site umpteen times without any connection problems.

 

EDIT. Wouldn't you know it. I came back to the site for a quick look before I went to bed and lo! connection problem.  ☹️
