H101F Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Hi, first of all thank you for your creations modders you guys are amazing So I'm looking for somekind of decoration mostly good "paintings" but no luck (I already searched here).. You know good looking erotic paintings but I'm not looking for an "anime stuff" hell no No anime pictures thank you lol. I find some they kinda look ok(ish), but is there any other good looking paintings out there? For decorating our sims home? Also is it possible make paintings work with KW? Somethings like when we give order to our sims, go view that painting while they looking at it they get horny modlet? Something like that is it possible? If it is, is there mod out there for this? Just asking So if guys know any good looking erotic decos especially paintings please share with me And second question about modding and upload here, I made a mod for sims 3 while back ago, mostly around the "supernatural pack"... It's a TV channel mod I called "Spice TV" romance channel. So my question is my TV channel mod have actual porn videos in it I download some videos from xvideos I edit them turn them in to the TV channel etc. So not like KW TV channels... There is nothing illegal in that mod you know just a real porn stuff adult men with adult woman doing some exercise lmao... I made that mod for personal use didn't upload it on anywhere. It's still works after all these years without any real issues, there is a minor issue with "into the future" pack but it's ok. So is it ok to upload here tho? I mean mod with real porn stuff in? So I confused if it's not, it's ok not a problem I just wanted to ask
FreakyRufus Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 I thought that I remembered there being some nice looking wall art on SexySims, but I just took a look and there is very little there now, and it all looks pretty trashy. ☹

So I confused if it's not, it's ok not a problem I just wanted to ask It's very possible to mod your own artwork in a similar way you modded your TV channels. The below image was me messing around with new pictures, I've never made pictures in TS3 before so I was testing it out to see how to go about it. You may notice the jet artwork has a checkerboard border which was the frame part of the base image which I did not fill with any frame graphic, next time I know to add a frame. I cannot remember the exact steps but there should be tutorials online, but what I did goes along the lines of: Using S3OC open the base game package files and find a painting, Clone that painting with a different name, Open the newly cloned package in S3PE Find and extract the image files Edit the Image Files In S3PE replace the original image file with the new one. Save as a new package in your mods folder. Then your Sims can go crazy and have the walls totally covered in penises, vagina's, penises going into vagina's, vagina's spread open with things sticking inside them and the "exercise" you also talk about, the list is endless. I don't know how to make the painting interactive with KW as you mention, it's above my level, but I would guess some script programming would be possible, it's however far you can push your modding level. The only thing I'm aware that could be a problem with uploading mods using downloaded videos is copyright issues. But if you got your girlfriend (for creative purposes) and a camera problem solved ?! Alternatively you could film your sim's going at it and use that as your mod video instead the choices are up to you.

Thanks man, I already did problem is now I need to spend hours on google trying to find good looking pictures ? But it's better than nothing Yep copyright issues, you're right it might cause a problem idk tho... But I'm not taking the risk, because my mod not just only have videos in it, also have some music too...
Guest Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 @H101F and @Brisbane Australia, personally I rarely use s3oc for cloning, as it includes more than usually necessary. I find TSRW easy enough, as you can see the frame style, size and whether horizontal or vertical orientation. Export the image overlay and open in GIMP. In new window, open your image and resize it to match the one from TSRW. using layers, place your image over the original, align it and then merge down. Export as .dds, dxt5 (I have also made uncompressed), and finally import to TSRW... then make your new package. )))

I can't believe how much easier it is to modify things! I was just testing how it works and managed to stumble though modifying this dress that comes with TS3, I'd really like to make some clothes for my Sim because she's nude in almost every shot posted here and I've included pictures of the simple test for you to see it all working and it works great, thanks so much for telling me/us about TSRW I think I can make a lot of use out of this! ?
landess Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 I found the GraphicalXTC site has a mod which affects some of the 'Street Art' files from the University EP replacing the default art with nudes. I wanted custom music in my game and after trying a few different ways found a mod which successfully creates extra radio channels that work properly by having ALL public speakers playing the same thing at the same time. Link in LadySmoks Help post. >>> I brought these examples up since both deal with file replacement/addition and being successful at it. I tend to learn more in life by 'reverse engineering'. Since many posts mention 'looking at' things inside other programs I'm leaving these two examples for the curious.

I'm glad that helped, and here is more... absolutely none of the EA adult female one piece outfits have less than 59 bones. That dress actually has only 58, which is rare, but you are still short one bone assignment. That is why the bottom of the dress is distorted. You lost something during your work, BUT it's a start! Not sure why, if you only worked on textures? Your next step is Cmar's Meshing Tool Kit. When you open a project in TSRW, go to the mesh tab (as you are in the pic), click the red export arrow, and save the mesh from each LOD (I name them ea L1, ea L2, ea L3) to a work folder inside your main work folder. I name it simply "wsos". They contain all bone and morph info for your garment. Quite a few have 2 groups, and you must do both groups... L1-0 and L1-1 is how I name them. Tool Kit has tools that will transfer bones and morphs. Not perfect for custom meshes, but if alterations are not too much and vertices are close to original positions, you will be fine. Also in Tool Kit are tools to repair the seams that happen at the neck, waist and ankles, as long as they remain at their original EA positions, especially neck and ankles. Blender 2.8 with the tools by Smug Tomato also will fix the seams nicely, but there may be issues with polygon shadows on the mesh. It might be me, but my Meshing Tool Kit throws an error on teen female meshes when trying to fix seams, so I must always use Blender seam fix. VERY often, I get those polygon shadows, and simply must rinse and repeat mesh export as many times as necessary until it is right. This is the neck seam I tell about below. You may see this on some CC. FYI, my Lolita maid outfit was done before I knew that Cmar had updated Tool Kit and added the seam fixer, and before I began using Blender 2.8 with the seam fixer. ((( How I understand it to work is, the programs have the coordinates, bone weighting, normals and probably other info of the EA head, feet, top and bottom, and match your mesh to the references to blend the seams to invisible. )))
Guest Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 6 hours ago, landess said: I tend to learn more in life by 'reverse engineering'. A huge yes, I agree!!! I constantly open meshes that others made in Blender to see how they are put together, or some package to see how it was tuned, and if I can tweak it more to my liking. How I learned the code numbers for Plumbot shiny skins! After reading Cmar's tutorial on see thru garments (and finally understanding it after 1,000 times), I then made a Plumbot package and found the shader numbers in s3pe... copied it and saved it in a notebook file. Then, copied and pasted THOSE numbers into a FemmeBot package, and there it is! But, open things up and peak inside!!! )))
FreakyRufus Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Oh, hey, I just came across sexy paintings at Pandora Sims: http://pandorasims.net/sub_sims3_paints.html . None of them are what I would call fine art, but they aren't anime stuff either. Mostly it looks like covers of questionable fantasy novels and fantasy pulp magazines.
