brownie1276 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 I have set up my Fallout 4 modlist to be more a hardcore survival playthrough set in a Nuclear Winter, and on that theme I am looking to expand the risk vs reward idea further. I'm quite comfortable with Violate and the RSE II CSA/Raider Pet mods for example, and the idea of surrendering either for roleplay or injury/survival purposes but...... it doesn't kinda work (logically) in a Nuclear Winter setting where I have to balance both extreme cold (Nuclear Winter mod) and Radiation effects (Gas Masks of the Wasteland mod) as I will die quickly once stripped (or it makes no sense) or assaulted out in the world. So with that in mind - is it possible or does anyone know how to set it up so that, if I did surrender I would be abducted to a building or camp (preferably indoors) AND THEN assaulted? I dont mind using any combination of mods to make that happen. Prolly a niche case scenario, but yea like I said looking to add more risk vs reward to my Nuclear Winter playthrough. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice ?

brownie1276 Posted January 31, 2022 Author Posted January 31, 2022 Ok so with Violate thats not possible as it doesnt handle the actual abductions part - just the surrender/assault part....and you would use Raider Pet or RSE II - CSA to handle the abduction (if you are using it that way)....but now I am looking at CSA more and seeing what I can do. Looks like RSE II - CSA will let me do this. On page 2 of the settings (CSA: Surrender) there is an Assault Cycle section and you can basically block sexual assaults during that phase...so they can steal beat you up, steal your stuff or abduct you. So that part works fine, and you get teleported to a raider base etc. What I am testing now is if this disables assaults completely or if that still happens during the Abduction/Kidnap phase. I figure I will report back as someone may find this useful for there own gameplay, and I may post the settings if I can get this to all finally work
Karna5 Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 If all else fails you can explore Magno Cum Gaudio which also has surrender and abductions built in (without sexual assault I think), but although I use MCG for its other features, I have its surrender and abduction elements disabled because I also use AAF Violate (for the surrender) and CSA (for the abductions). I think the violate and csa are more sophisticated at what they do because they specialized in it, but at least you have more to try if necessary, brownie1276
brownie1276 Posted January 31, 2022 Author Posted January 31, 2022 Hmmm I might try that as well (never used MCG) so thank you for the suggestion. All these mods are amazing from a RP point of view and I enjoy that kinda brutal risk vs reward idea in my playthroughs.
Karna5 Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 On an RP level I think MCG is one of the best mods, and it works very well together with other newer RP related mods (like sex education and sex attributes) and works fine alongside other newer mods which do similar things and then some (like Just Business, Sexual Harassment and Crime and Punishment). There's a huge number of RP related mods out there, and it's nice that they can be installed at the same time and controlled in MCM to pick which features you want each mod to do.

Ill jump on a save to test it.

Even with Violations set to 0 it will perform one violation before Abduction, so sorry about that suggestion. Now we know.

Yea, it would be a neat option to have, in say something like Violate that you can force the raiders to skip the initial assault and then flag say RSE Abduction to treat it as a "visitor" once you have arrived at the place you will be held. Makes sense that a raider might take you back to his base for "some fun" , or to keep you as his/her slave/captive for a period of time. Not sure how hard that would be to implement though.
