need some help finding out why ther is no dialog option to go to jail

for some reason when a guard stops me there is no "take me to jail" dialog the only options lead to the guard sexually assaulting me or the guard leaving the dialog and it resets from the beginning. any help would be great.

I had prison overhaul but had to remove it because i couldn't get it to work properly so just removed it and started a new game. I don't think i have any other prison mod. I could show you my load order but not sure how to do so.

You have at least one mod that modifies guard dialogue or you wouldn't get raped.

LOOT can extract the LO

FallRimTools can extract the LO from your save

Google gives you multiple ideas how to extract LO

Wrye Bash exports LO

Are you sure the SE update didn't broke stuff? Do you have that under control?

 

Check with SSEedit for conflicts related to the guard dialogue. Maybe creating a patch helps or at least make sure the prison/guard dialogue mod of your choice wins.

i downgraded the skyrim exe so the ae update is not affecting me i dont think

how exactly do i do that? I know how to use sseedit im just not sure how to see that information.

Basically you only load SLUTS and DCL and SLUTS DCL patch in SSE edit (you can also load all plugins, it's just slower)

right click on a Plugin and choose "apply filter to show conflicts" => you see all conflicts, but in this case only check what mods effect guard dialogue topics

That was more like a personal preference than tech advice... mostly.

 

SLUTS will still work, but not as prison alternative, but as SS++ outcome.

 

Another question I should have asked earlier: Are you using SLUTS redux or SLUTS resume?

i think turning on vanilla prisons fixed the issue

 

Yeah i should have moved it over to the right forum but the reason i put it here was because i thought i put it in a different place but then i noticed a little bit later that it was not in the right place and by the time i noticed, you had already made your first comment.

it says it still uses the ss prison if activated, in the description so im not entirely sure but id guess you would.

what mod do you use in its place if any at all? dcl just seems like it could add more fun to a play-through with the quest and stuff. i have yet to play around with it too much due to the fact that im usually more interested in finding cool new mods than actully playing the game hehe.

I was stuck in that repeating mod searching/testing/next cycle too... wait, I still am... ?

What is the SS prison? A Wolfenstein mod?

 

If it's the DCL prison I want to know if it works!
