Bromm83 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 While I am waiting on feedback for the general sex plugin I have started on the earlier mentioned companion relationship plugin. In the beginning I will only add veronica as a test subject. It will be a fairly at first where I have just set up a variable that get modified positiely or negatively from different dialogue options. I am currently adding some more dialogues that lets you compliment her or insult her and I need some feedback on what are good compliments or insults for her specifically.

I know that her and Wilkins have something going on between them. First time you have both of them together in the Bunker, Veronica mocks Wilkins over her lazy eye being "barely noticeable" and Wilkins fires back that Veronica is still hiding her hair. I'm not sure how much you'd need to compliment her to get her to take the fucking thing off... probably a hell of a lot.

Too may mods changing her outfit, letting you remove it yourself and so on. I need good lines for compliments and insults. As it stands now it's: PC: Insult/Compliment 1 (I ment to number them first, but then turned lazy...) NPC: Answer I keep working on it withou this feedback, but when I give out an alpha on it it will be boring not having any dialogue for it..

And are they gender specific or only built with a female player in mind? variability is a good word for how rough. I will give them different impact depending on how rough they are anyways. They can be for both sexes. This is for developing relationships on a gender neutral way. (relationship, lovers, friends) You can't have sex with her if the friends bar is higher than the lovers bar and so forth. This is just in the early stages, so haven't gotten all the features put down yet.

It seems what happened is Veronica thinks their parents tore them apart, when in actuality Christine distanced herself to make her mission of tracking and killing Elijah easier given the closeness Veronica and Elijah had.

If we are going for a more romance/companion approach, comments on her views of thw world would be easiest and most effective. Loogie's comment above on her lesbian nature is a good example. Here is another I was thinking about on the way home tonight: On her views of the Brotherhood: Compliment: "I am really impressed by your bravery Veronica. It takes a lot of courage to challenge the assumptions and way of life that you were raised in. Most people just follow their leaders and parents like sheep, but you not only questioned your people's path, but you are also doing something about it." Insult: "To betray your ancestors and everything they have accomplished...How dare you even question those that came before you?! Do you not realize that by trying to change the ways of the Brootherhood of Steel, you weaken its foundations? Only by following the code and the law can the BoS hope to survive. Everywhere in the wasteland there is nothing but chaos and unrest...You have seen this with your own eyes yet you still think that it is superior to the world you were raised in? You make me sick!" Kinda what you were aiming for or too verbose? Just a few quick ideas

[/quote'] From the timing of the story, no way it happened like this. They broke up before Helios-one falls and Elijah went rogue. (And it seems its Elijah who is behind this break up.) Then Christine, now working with Circle of the Steels, was sent to take down Elijah. So their distance happened long before Elijah was even a enemy.
Shantotto Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Yeah, I think that's the way it happened. I seem to remember Christine mentioning something about that in Dead Money, how Elijah split her up from someone she cared about a lot.
