WarLord-Fr Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Hi everyone. I highly suggest creation of New Category, for SKYRIM AE (last version - actually AE 342) where ONLY the certified mods FULLY compatible with, could be listed in. Why ? Because, with all the time passed, I regularly see messages from lot of people, who are asking why the mod "toto.XXX" who was working well in a legendary edition, has only been "ported" to SE, and then, since the "port", some bugs appears, lot of conflict beetween different mods, etc... And now, we have same problems beetween mods who were worked at 85-90 % on SE 1.5.97, and now, since AE was launched, are totally dysfunctionnals. Beetween the upgrade of SoS, Address Library, etc, that make all of us totally loosed in the game, so perhaps, a new section could be create, where each modders, can simply make a check of his own mod, just verifying that his mod is well updated, compatible with the 5-10 others mods that we are all using, and then, once the check is done, simply post it into the new section. Idea seem (for me) really simple to make, I think, and perhaps lot of us can then continue to use our most useable mods, without bugs, whithout always asking to a modder, "please, can you upgrade this, please can you explain me why my mod pack are giving to me some strange messages, etc..." I think the modders are fed-up with theses tons of messages, so, if the simple "gamer / user" could simply find in the AE section, perhaps only 15-25 mods, but the most used, and with an sort of "certified 100 % compatible without any issue on your SE/AE edition", etc. that could be helpfull for everyone. I suppose that lot of us are often using same mods, for example the base pack could be "SexLab 1.64b AE, Zaz Animation CBBE/UNP 8+, and SoS AE 1.0.2", all certified for working well together, onto the AE edition. Second package could be something like : SexLab Anim Loader (SLAL), Sexlab Separate orgasm (SLSO), and Dripping when Aroused... etc... Certain mods are made to work with others, and some are not fully compatible with. Idea of packages, could be an good idea to regroup the mods who are made for work well together. For example, there is no interest for someone to iinstall mod of milking economy, if the gamer, have no ideau for what milk is necessary into his game. If one, want only to make some rape of bandits, so regrouping mods like "prettier bandits, with aroused, and rape animation, and these, fully tested for working well together, can be a gain of time, and can eviting to the modder some stupid question type of " I want to fuck lydia, make a rape on Aela, but that don't work... " and answer is "normal, your mod pack is only to make rape on bandits"... In this example, question is stupid, and answer too. And the 2 are frustrated together, modder will think " these stupid boy made me angry" and the boy will think "this fuckin modder is an asshole..." Each mod/package before certification just need to be updated, with the last Adress Libray, always upgraded in, the last requirement always updated in, and well converted with the right form id, by example, all mods should be well converted by advance to form 44. I don't know what you think about that, but the idea perhaps could be interesting to think. Ah, and all the language translation should be updated into each mod, because sharing a mod with german translation who is full english is stupid. If you don"t know how to translate, ask others friends, we are all here for the pleasure to game, ready to help, but please stop sharing fucking mods where half job is made, if you made a mod, make it well, or don't make it. When you are at work, you are paid for a full work, and not for a half. So I understand well that modding is taking time, etc, but before sharing an beta mod totally unstable, test it with friends, ask us help for something, that's ok, but stop sharing mods who are shitting work. If you want to share shitting work, so, i prefer that you don't share it. Lot of modders are making some mods who are fabulous, and I encourage them to continue, and to take pleasure for themselves to make these mods, but honnestly, since 8 years i am on skyrim, since LE, SE and Now AE, some answer from modders to gamers who sometimes meet an difficult, or meet an error messages, are just shame. Thats why, I sugget to think to an "Certificate Mods Section", where we can find mods totally finished, updated, and 100 % fully compatible beetween them, to simplify the life for all of us. Thanks for your time to read my message. it's not a criticize, just a suggestion. I hope you all understand me well, when I wrote it. It's not for criticizing anyone, but just for simplifying life of all of us. Excuse me by advance if my message schock certains or if it's not appropriate.
Just Don't Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 https://www.loverslab.com/topic/94228-se-compatibility-tracking-jan-4?-6932-✔sexlab-✔dd-beta-✔faster-hdt-✔dar-❌net-sf/ That thread + reading mod descriptions should be enough for any user who wants to commit their time to mod a game. We can't have a new category for every executable runtime. Because that's what makes this update a compatibility problem; the executable version has changed and thus the SKSE and SKSE plugin (dll files) must account for that. Same happened for every SE update we had in the past 5 years.
