Hi, i have a heavily modded skyrim which i worked alot to clear from crashes and problems and it worked very for years but this last couple of months i did download couple of mods (which i cannot remember what they were, around 10 mods) and i recently i started a vampire gameplay and just realized that my game suddenly start to lag like hell in couple of places such as where u find serana and the volkihar keep, and here what i did so far and the results:

First i did disable all my mods and removed them from data folder (to make sure they are not activated but scripts were still there) the Lag still persisted, then i cleaned my save using save tools THEN again the lag persisted, then i removed immersive wench slaves scripts (which were alot) and everything did seems to be fixed until i did one quest and when i did return to volkihar keep the heavy lag started again.

The things i did understand is:

1. lag is completely gone when i open console commands or when i move around with "TFC 1"

2. its script related somehow since scripts were all that were remind in my Data folder except original game files but yet again its random

3. i did once also completely delete my script folder (excet SKSE files) and the lag didnt happened in my couple of tests BUT there was a very short freeze every couple of seconds

4. whenever the bug happened no matter how many times i did load that place it would pressist same thing when the bug didnt happened.

I really do appreciate any help! can anyone provide me with any helpful tip? :(

I had problem once, not script related. For me it was a mesh/tex problem where something wasnt playing nice with Static Mesh Improvement mod. Cant remember exactly but pretty sure one of the mods was changing a mesh and the texture and 2nd mod was coming behind and overwriting the texture.

For me it wasnt the whole exterior cell that was killing my fps, when my fps would tank when looking around(360) i open console and disabled/deleted things until I found it was juniper trees. I think console told me last mod touching it and MO told me what was not playing nice with it. For me, finding specific item/mesh that was dorking me was key.

You went into game and with no mesh and tex folders and your game still lagged, you were able to get into game without those folders?

What do you see when you go into game with no mesh and tex folders? Surprised the game even loaded.

Does this happen with a new game as well? Not the no mesh and tex folders but with your current LO does your game lag if you alt start you way into Harkons Castle?

Yeah well naturally all modded stuffs were purple but original game files which are in SKYRIM and its DLCs BSA files were intact but yeah the lag still existed.

Yeah it happens with new game as soon as i teleport to that castle i get the lagg also i did use another friends save and still same thing its driving me crazy!

strange thing is when i delete a random script from my folder it will work but after i go out and come back to the castle after a while the lag is back! also stranger thing is this happened with 0 mod scripts too!

I did also turn off my ENB and still same result, could it be related to my VGA driver update i did last month by any chance??

if only in around vampires, doubt it

I gotta work, barely up. Gotta reread your post and i'll check in later.

thanks alot for trying bro

Btw when u had this problem did u use "TFC 1" command and look around? during console screen pause or TFC1 my game is perfect as soon as the pause is gone everything goes to hell! i did even use lowest graphic setting to see if there is any difference and nope not anything at all.

THE ONLY time when the lag is gone is when i delete couple of random SCRIPT files, and load my save, which is temporary and still i will have a very short lag spike every couple of second.

EDIT: something new i just noticed is when i enter the vamp keep and look at the hall the bloods and human organs are loading 1by1 (also mesh and texture folder are deleted so its not high texture mod)

Also the SCRIPT delete thing doesnt work anymore, i guess it was just a luck
