NPC traits question

Hello all. I am having a problem that I am hoping someone might be able to help me with. New-spawned NPC's in my game are being given between 15-20 traits. And each one is getting the same traits over and over. A sample of the traits that all the NPC's are getting:

Athletic

Creative

Geek

Clumsy,

Childish

Child of the Islands & ocean

Dance Machine

Jealous

Kleptomania

the good and evil traits

Foodie

Historian

And that's just what I can remember. There is minor variation with a few traits (some get unflirty and non-commital, and others might get family oriented)

 

I'm spending more time cheating sim info to get rid of the traits to try to give some randomness to my townie/npc's than I am playing the game right now.  I don't know if there is a setting on WW, the base game, MCCC or another mod that is doing this. If someone might can point me in the right direction or give me an idea of where to start looking I would be very grateful.

Most likely you have a mod like 'More Traits' installed you need to either remove or update.

Can't remember the authors names but there are a couple I think.

WW & MCCC don't cause this FYI.

You are my new hero.

It was a coolspear mod I needed to both update and change to a lower number of traits added.
