Rey_Vegeta Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Does anyone knows why KS Hairs has this transparency effect?

Then it appeared again when I loaded a saved game. And dissapeared again when I started a new game. Makes no sense.
myuhinny Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 @Rey_Vegeta Could be something inside your old save file that's causing it. Unless it was one that you just made then I have no clue but if it was a old save you might have something inside the save file that is causing it.
c2o0o0l8 Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 I have the same problem. The hair goes back to normal when I use showracemenu and change to other hair and then back. It will happen again after save and load. Really annoying. I searched all kinds of fix and none works.?
airnox Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Its not your save. Its the wig itself. Using it as default hair won't cause the transparency. I tried increasing the transparacy threshold in nifskope, but it doesn't seem to work. I noticed it myself when i tried to apply diffent wigs to diffrent hats/helmets. So im sure it has to do something with the wig. I also think this game has problems with transparent settings and textures.
c2o0o0l8 Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 I managed to fix the issue by editing the mesh of the hair in NifSkope. Change the Flag of the NiAlphaProperty of the hair from 4845 to 4844.
tejano2828 Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 @author What type of HDTSMP are you running because this was a bug with faster HDTSMP but they fixed it where all wigs were transparent. You can go to Nexus SE page and look up faster HDT Smp and read the comments under "forums"
