DariusC22 Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Hi, i got a message when launched skyrimSE : OStim: ERROR - Your version of PapyrusUtils is out of date - this is ALMOST CERTAINLY because OSA's packaged in (and out of date) PapyrusUtil is overwriting a more recent downloaded version. Please exit without saving, and move PapyrusUtils lower in mod organizer, or do the upcoming vortex instructions, or install the latest version if it is not installed so that OStim can Function. So i go in plugins on NMN and i cant find Papyrus to get it lower, so what to do?
Grey Cloud Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 It's not rocket science - it is giving you three options. You are not using MO or Vortex so you can scratch those two options. You cannot see PapyrusUtils in your NMM load order which suggests that the standalone version is not installed which points you nicely to option number three: 56 minutes ago, DariusC22 said: install the latest version if it is not installed so that OStim can Function. Download and install the standalone version of PayrusUtils, letting it overwrite the version which came with OSA.

I'm running into the same error on MO2. I've tried moving PayrusUtils to the bottom but that didn't help. I also downloaded this version from Nexus. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/13048?tab=files I'm assuming this is what you meant by the standalone version.

I don't use MO either so I can't offer any advice on that. You are aware of the SE/AE fiasco that is going on? Maybe that is having an impact.
