Guest Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Hello, i have a strange problem which i am not totally sure how to solve it. I noticed that if i change my race to Nord, jiggle works, but if i change it to custom nord, jiggle is gone. What do i do wrong? I am using BHUNP (UUNP Next Generation) SSE Leyenda Skin HDT-SMP (Skinned Mesh Physics) CBPC - Physics with Collisions for SSE and VR plus Custom Races SE Thank you p.s. i copied the ygnord mesh into the custom race mesh. Also, the physics mods are overwrite the body and skin. That should be right, right?
Dorabella Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 SMP don't work ?? How I solved He might give you some suggestions Female Breasts SMP V 2 + Body demonstration video
Guest Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Thanks, let me read your site. It seems that something is not carried over to custom races. If selected just nord, it works just fine. That is what i do not get. Did you work with custom race or unique body? I remember that on LE i had a similar problem but i was able to solve it by copying the meshed from the skin mod Leyeda. But there is no mesh on SE from that mod.
Guest Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 I solved it. I perhaps forgot that, but i wasn't even aware of it. So this is how i did it. In the overwrite folder overwrite\meshes\actors\character\character assets are 3 files. femalebody.tri, femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif. These need to go to the custom races mesh folder. This preserved the original shape of the breast and made them bouncy. So it was not big issue but i just did not know.

If you are using the Custom Races mod then you will have to do that for the other custom races (in case you ever decide to play as one of them). On the other hand, if you are going to be using the same body for a race and its custom race then there is no real point in using the Custom Race mod in the first place.
Guest Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Well, using the custom nord race. Itsn't that different than the nord race?
Grey Cloud Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 1 hour ago, wutpickel said: Well, using the custom nord race. Itsn't that different than the nord race? Not if you are using this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8720 "This mod allows you to have separate meshes and textures from every other character in Skyrim." Race for race, stats and everything else are the same.
Guest Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 @Grey Cloud Thats the one i am using. I was looking for something so i can have a unique body. And that works with UNP. I think i had Total Unique but that only has sliders for CBBE. At least i think. Anyway, this works fine with Custom Races.

The point of the mod is to make it possible for your PC to have a different body to all the NPCs. Whether it is UUNP or CBBE has noting to do with it.

More or less. But, i do need to still copy the files in custom race so that i appear as i create myself. (mesh/textures) And i am unique in the game. Most importantly. Like i said, it works as intended. I was a nord, now i am a redguard. So i can switch between all of them.

You are still missing the point. If your PC and the NPCs are using the same body meshes (the nif files you mentioned in your earlier post) then it is pointless using Custom Races. There are 9 files you need - 3 x femalebody; 3 x femalefeet; 3 x femalehands. Also you have no need to be using the ygnord race or no need to use Custom Races if you use the ygnord race. You mentioned putting files into your overwrite folder. If you are using MO the you shouldn't really be using your overwrite folder from what I understand. The default path for body meshes is: Data\Meshes\actors\character\character assets The default path for Custom Races is: Data\Meshes\CustomRaces\Custom <name of race> MO will use its virtual directory system but it will be the equivalent of this.

Oh my. I do hope i understand it correctly.? So the custom races supposed to be a custom race that NPC's are not using. My only reason to use that mod, is that i have a different body then everyone in the game. So i can have for example big breast where the rest has small or none. At least that is how i read the mod. I do not use, at least i am not aware off, the ygnord race. All i have are the sliders from Baka Haeun UNP. As for skin i am using the Leyenda skin mod. Ah, so if i would use ygnord slides in Bodyslides that would be already a unique race that no one else is using. Is that right? If that is the case, yes absolutely. The addition of the custom race is pointless then. So, did i self defeat my installation?

Forget about Custom Races for a moment. This also applies, more or less, to males but I am talking about females here. Unmodded Skyrim comes with its own body which is generally known as the vanilla body. All NPCS will get that body whenever the game loads. Your PC will get that body when you create the character. It does not matter whether an NPC or your PC is a nord, redguard or whatever they will use that body. If you install a body mod, whether UUNP, BHUNP, CBBE or whatever then all NPCs and your PC will get that , e.g. BHUNP body whatever their race is. The point here is that PC and NPCs are using the same body. Custom Races allows you to change this. You for instance have your default body using BHUNP and your e.g. custom nord using CBBE. Or, and this is the way I use it, you can have the default body using one UUNP preset and your custom races PC using a different UUNP preset. You could also set up the custom races races to use different presets so when you start a new game you just choose body shape (wide hip or narrow hips flat chested , large breasted, etc) which matches the character you want in this particular game. This is the contents of my Custon Races/Custonredguard folder: The folders on the left are different presets. I can just copy the contents and drop them into this folder. I use a text file to remind me of which preset I'm currently using - in this case it is Natural Curves Thin. The folder doesn't have to be as mad as this. I've just let things get this way over a few years of using Custom Races.
Guest Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 I did not mention it, but feel i should have. I am using MO2. I clearly had a different understanding about it. Like in my head, it was, this is a different race with body. No one else is using it but me. So i got that wrong. Anyway, i am more of a conservative player. I usually settle for one skin and body. I just do not experiment too much with my setup. Once it settled, it kind of stays the way. But i get it how it could be. Thank you for the explanation. I do need to start putting notes in the folder. I keep forgetting the steps i need to take to have it work.

Guest Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 I get you. Yes, of course i can adjust the body in racemenu. Personally, i always felt that Skyrim's women should have a variety of different boobs in all shape and sizes. Not sure how that can be done though. But that is a different topic all together. Plus, how to make true old and fat people. Skyrim seems to be a place where everyone is thin. Though if i like to change the meshes and textures, a mod like this or any other unique player mod would be better. Would it not? Anyway, i am quiet happy how it works. Though i have to admit that i sometimes still lag the understanding. But i am willing to learn.

Like much else with modding Skyrim, it depends on how much time and effort you want to invest. These are using the same body preset and are otherwise untouched by be. (My PC is using a different preset). The two followers in this one are both using the same preset which is different from that used by Tickles and Cuddles and from the one used by my PC.
