A question about mod compatibility

Recommended Posts

I kinda wanted to ask if some of the sexlab mods I have are compatible with Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul, I checked their website and under the compatibility section of their site:

http://ai-gamer.com/skyrim/ic-se/#compatibility

I didnt see sexlab mentioned there, but it did mention that it will conflict with mods that change dialogues and scenes, so I was wondering if that mod will conflict with any of the following mods I have:

Spoiler

SexLab FrameworkSE

SexLab LightMeUP SE

SexLab Romance SE

SexLab RelationshipDialougeSystem SE

SexLabArousedSSELoose

SOS

other mods:

Alternative life(?)

Realistic Lighting Overhaul(RLO)

Obsidian Weather and Seasons

Skyrim 3D Trees and Plants

RS Children Overhaul

Project Js-Kha'jay Khajit Diversity Overhaul

I have a few other mods I will probably consider later like realistic fighting just to entertain my inner masochism of trying to make the game as impossible as possible.

Any thoughts on if that any of those will conflict with Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul SE?

Shouldn't be an issue with the mods you have listed.  Most Sexlab mods will work fine with it.  Honestly Immersive Citizens is a compatibility nightmare in general, but nothing game-breaking.  In most cases "incompatible" for ImmCit just means people standing around talking to nobody or other oddball behaviors.

No no, Immersive npc works fine with most sexlab mods. You should however look out for mods that change the normal behavior of them too much.

As far as i can tell they don't do too bad things if they collide a little  but never be too sure of that. But there are very little mods that really do fiddle with AI permanently as i recall.

Dialogue mods are fine. I have immersive npc always active in my LO, same goes for dialogue mods like eager npc, Quest mods amorous adventures and even if it a little bit of a problem, i also played one quest of Dovahkiin's Infamy, (i will not give you the green light for that one myself, since i uninstalled it pretty quickly. It did nothing game breaking, it was just not my cup of tea.)

Lighting Mods and Retextures are for the most part fine as well.  Just take your Mod List into consideration before you install anything that does things like quest altering or mods that places NPC`s and Objects into your game, just to be sure you don't already have something that alters these places in a way that might lead to crashes. For Example you have a cave mod that reshapes the entire Dungeon of Who gives a fuck and then you install another mod that places furniture or specially placed npcs into it, that could lead to problems, either npc´s /Objects "melt"into each other or you crash. But other then that.. Its fair game. (you will crash sometimes anyway if you are new to this, but that's normal and usally not a big problem since it's easy to avoid/fix mods with the correct Load Order or just by staying away from things that you are not too sure about. ? I myself stay away from immersive creatures soley cause i have another mod that does add many monsters in my game. Combining these too is like asking for trouble. ) Long story short, what you have already is more then fine to combine with immersive npc´s.

Merry Christmas, time for some family time ?

hmm... I kinda wonder because I dont want it to hardlock me out of quests, I cant really get any survival modes because apparently I already have that(I got the Skyrim SE pass the changes to it everyone warned about before, so I have the survival stuff they said they will add already which hard locks me from using that mode because I had to downgrade to use SKSE).

do you know of any combat mod recommendations that I can download? the vanilla game was just too easy even at higher levels

Ahh, you mean like Alternative life and Lustmod(most definetly Lustmod)?

[*Honestly I just installed SexLab so I will have the option of trying to sneak into houses to steal shit while the NPC's are getting it on for immersion sake]

also merry Christmas and soon to be a happy new year

Alternative life and Lustmod

Alternative Life - Life another life is also fine, it doesn't do anything with Npc´s outside of the Mainquest and the only things it does for the ones who are involved is to take away their main Quest Dialogue until you start the Helgen part. Also one of the mods i always have, especially cause you will fuck up the vanilla start when you start modding the game to some extent.

I dunno what Lustmod is tho. But if it is anything like SexLife, that also is fine. The script that let npc´s have some naughty fun just hits and runs out after they did it or got dumped.

(so now i am on the way xD have a plate of food with my name on it waiting.. Well ok without the name. But give me time.. And a crayon)

Oh, this is Lustmord:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16676

Basically a new craftable armor along with a side quest line which automatically triggers "lost tongue overlook" for some reason, im not really sure if another mod causes it or its a bug, but it is always there after I installed that mod.

Oh that mod! yeah that's normal and not a bug. Until you finished the Quest of course.

By the way, final unrelated question, how do I fix the problem where followers dont wear the armor I give them? and will it harm that AI overhaul mod?

Easy as that. Just install a follower framework like Nethers Follower Framework here on LL. With it you can set 3 outfits for your followers who will change into them either on demand or automaticly depending on which location you are. It supports Normal Outfit for everywhere the other 2 are not set of, Town outfit and home outfit. Sadly the weapons will stay on, AFT another framework has a similar feature but it also has weapon slots, so if you choose Outfit B without weapons, they will not equip them. Nethers has the benefit of compatibility tho but i didn't used other frameworks for quite a while so things could have changed in that regard

If you don't want a framework, there are mods on nexus like npc outfit manager that do it more simple but for every npc or npc clothing replacer which is a bit more complex as it changes outfit depending on typ and has many more options to choose from but not what you really asked for.

And can you do that on an existing save? I also kinda wondered about it since now that I finally got where I could test it(another mod), I found out it was the wrong one.

I dont know what mod it was but it was some mod that was able to voice dialouge rather than just give the "can we talk" option... usually as far as Serana the first option was:
"Well arent you a hell of a sexy corpse"... dont know what that mode is, but it was funny since the author also decided to not only reuse the voice but also add his own which made the dialogue when you save her mom hilarious.

Follower Frameworks are best installed with a completly new save. If you can't/want do that right now just use one of the mods i listed. They can be found on nexus.

The first half sounds like amorouse adventures, the other Serana Dialogue Add on. You should use a patch if you want them both so the Serana content for Adventures is turned off.  (might be wrong here of course, i don't know all the mods in existence.)

Or deinstall Dialog Add On whatever you perfere here. You really should read Mod Descriptions a bit more carefully ?

Aghh... I have a backup of all the previous mods I had but something snapped in them before... dammit gotta restart the game than again... since for one I got the wrong dialogue and I specifically got the AI overhaul so NPC's would stop bugging me but if I dare to press "hey, you got time to talk" they just wont stop trying to restarted the dialogue...

I literally got verbally molested by the guards man while trying to transmute time skip iron into gold... mistakes were made... but I was hopeful
