Spent, just want to comment the recent updates are amazing. Sperm machine has entirely changed how I play my male sims. Before, it was easy for sex to just be one of many ways to fill the fun bar. Now, the cum levels act almost like an extra need they have to take care of. Seamlessly opens up new playing styles. Well done!

There might be a problem with the cum addict trait. Today I had two sims craving cum and a short while later they were sated without any interaction involving cum. No sex or drinking cum. It just solved itself.

 

The moodlet to need to get their rocks off shouldnt have a timer. It should behave like the craving cum moodlet and last until its solved.

My mod shouldn't effect that. It could be the animation that is playing doesn't have a cum event scripted (or sometimes it appears after it plays)

Two things happened to one of my sims this week that I assume are both related to your mod. First, he was Pent Up, and jerked off to TV porn, and it did nothing for him. So naturally, he hired a lady of the evening, and that took care of things. Maybe Peco's porn mod doesn't do whatever your mod needs to know that a sim got his rocks off? I'm just thinking of that now. Since they usually get the satisfied masturbation moodlet, and it counts as masturbation in their statistics, I assumed it was the same as doing it at the computer, but maybe not.

 

Anyway, the second thing which was weird for me, especially since previously I had such a hard time getting someone to fulfill the aspiration milestone to love cum, was this: he received cum once (his own, I presume, since he's had no sexual interactions with other male sims), and now he loves cum.

 

Anyway, neither of those things bothers me or hurts my gameplay in the least, but if you're going to be doing some playtesting, I figured I'd just add them to the tumbler of things to look out for.

people of this forum, im in need of some help. I downloaded this mod to have a slutted out or just a brainwashed cumdump to control around and well the only mod i have working is the WW mod, my other mods arnt working either. Is it file issues or is it mod issues?

That's frustrating with the porn watching. I tried to make it work with both  Peco's Cinerotique mod and  WW having a similar porn watching system, but perhaps I missed something at the TV. (edit I think I definitely missed something)

I wonder if your sim might have the right set of traits (carefree, romantic, shameless, lustful, interested in men/exploring) and a bit of a lucky roll to get assigned the loves cum trait so quickly. It's tricky and something I'd like to refine/rework: How to make it possible to build a sim's love of cum while also not setting every sim that has sex on a experss train to being a cum slut.

I agree, I am also having this issue and it doesn't seem to just be an animations issue. That has always been a thing where certain animations won't apply the cum layers even after playing a climax animation. The issue I am having is with animations that I have been using for years that used to apply cum on a sim with this mod don't seem to apply cum anymore. Very few of them do now and it seems to be related to the spem machine trait, unfortunately... I'm not entirely sure what's going.

 

I also agree that the Pent Up moodlet shouldn't just time out, and should last and perhaps increasingly get worse/more uncomfortable for the sim until they resolve the issue through sex/masturbation, etc.

Eff! Well, since I've been learning to create animations I have a clearer idea of how to check these thing from the tuning side. so I'll have to do some testing. cuz yeah, I also have the occasional missing cum, but of course my go to ones for testing have never failed me. I'll have to dig into that, especially if the sperm machine trait fucks with it.

On the note of pent up timing out, I see what I did wrong there, cuz it originally had an extra pent up moodlet that isn't triggering, but I see I overlooked it.

In your latest update you mentioned "Sims can now have funky tasting cum!" Is this something that can be enabled for certain sims in options or is it some hidden trait? Looked all through the settings for cumshine and didn't see anything. Thanks.

Right now there isn't a setting you can change or check, but if your sim swallows cum from a sim who has recently eaten bad food, drank coffee, has low hygeine, been poisoned, or smokes cigarettes (with basemental drugs) they will get a more negative moodlet. or conversely, cum from a sim that has buffs related to good or healthy food, herbal tea etc. will be good tasting. If a sim's cum is normal you'll get the normal moodlet that doesn't mention taste.

Thank you so much for looking into this. For me, cum isn't appearing after the sex is over. On some occasions I've had sims going at it for 10-15 RL minutes, playing various climax animations and nothing seems to be applying during or afterwards. So my cum addicted sim can't get the craving satisfied even after an extensive session, lol. But there have also been times when it did apply during sex. I feel like the vaginal/butt applications are the ones not happening anymore. Facial/chest seems to still work with the usual animations it always worked with.

 

I am a Patreon and I did download the xmas stuffing files. Could that somehow be the culprit? I don't know... Or maybe I was just unlucky and WW played all the old animations that don't have a cum event? I do have over like 16K animations installed so I get a variety each time.

I absolutely adore this mod, thank you so much for your work in creating it! 

 

I've had a couple of issues, and I'm not sure if they're on my end or not, but I wanted to bring them up here. So, I created an aspiration utilizing this mod for my own gameplay JUST before you released an official one, and I've had some issues with both in my testing. As I've been relying on buffs for mine, buffs not being applied sometimes has been a real obstacle. I understand that much of this issue is related to how the animators tag their animations, so no worries there. However, when trying to complete certain aspects of the aspiration, I've found difficulties with buffs applying at all to certain sims. For example, I have a sim with custom gender settings (female base, able to both impregnate and get pregnant), and not only does the 'take loads' counter never increase (for Baker's Dozen and 100 Loads), which I assume has to do with not registering the creampie buff on this kind of sim, but the buffs for cum on the feet also do not appear. I have one animation that I know applies a cum layer to the feet, and it does do this visually, but there is no buff and it does not register for the aspiration with this kind of sim. 

 

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Oh that's pretty fascinating. Thanks for the insight, I had previously used can impregnate in buff test conditions. I'll take a look and clean those up as I have switched to using the ww has penis/vagina/both trait(s) for tests. I think you might be right about the creampie buffs so I'll get that taken care of if i can soon. Any time one of my sims autonomously loads up an "Ask for sex" interaction, he gets the drained moodlet and his cum level drops to low, even if the offer is rejected, and in fact, even if I cancel the interaction while it's still in the queue. Since my married sims like to ask each other for sex quite often, that means the husbands are pretty much always drained.

So in the cum layer selection screen those are the only options? That sound like what would happen if only the cum layer files were installed without the cumshine mod itself.

It's definitely not a patreon only thing. Are the files in you mods folder or in a subfolder deeper? When you shift click on a sim do you have a cumshine menu?
