The drink cart in the lobby is functional, although I haven't play tested it. The office is where you can launder your money if you use basemental gangs.

A twist of a familiar household! This time, however, we are mixing some Sims 2 lore into the equation. You see, when she was a young adult, Katrina Caliente had an affair with corporate magnate, Florian Nestor (Caliente family tree). As a result of the affair, Katrina became pregnant with twins, Dina and Nina. Married and directly in the public eye, Florian broke things off with Katrina, sacrificing his relationship with his mistress and two daughters. At least, he kept things discreetly hidden from his wife, who has long since passed away.

 

Katrina has made ends meet as a single mother and her two daughters now have their own lives as they still support their mother financially. Dina has met the womanizing Don Lothario, who spends his time as a weightlifting self-help guru and podcaster. The twist - Don has had his eye on Dina's sister, Nina, who secretly reciprocates his lust. Perhaps the sexual tension is more appealing than the actual idea of a relationship.

 

What neither of the sisters - or Don, for that matter - knows is that Katrina has also had an eye on the younger Don Lothario. She hasn't had a committed relationship since her torrid affair with Florian nearly 25 years ago. She could use a reminder of how to feel youthful and sexy and the macho Don could be just what the doctor ordered - if, she can navigate around her twin daughters.

Max Payne and Mona Sax (from Max Payne; Free on September 16th)

 

 

Two characters from the classic game series are here! I used the model for Max that was seen in the first game as a reference. I am pleased with the final product for Mona and I did my best to match her fashion from the second game as Kathy Tong is the actress who lent her likeness to the character.

 

Remove chingyu's custom traits and trait mod file if you do not want them.

The Scaletta Family (Free on February 18th)

A long term project that I have finally completed. This is Vito's secretly built regime that has limited contact with his current family, many of whom are remnants from the Five Families that he overthrew back in Willow Creek.

 

Sims 3 Monte Vista and Mafia II were a massive inspiration for many of the sims in this gang along with a base game sim to whom I gave a basemental makeover.

 

I isolated Chingyu's custom traits, so delete that zip if you do not want to use those traits.

Danta Costa

 

From Sims 3 Wiki:

"Dante works as a Bank Robber in the criminal career track... His name is highly feared around town, as he is a great criminal. No one should dare approach his beloved family, else one would be in serious trouble...."

 

This is reinforced by the fact that he is now aligned with the most powerful crime family in America. After a robbery gone awry, Dante found himself facing a lengthy prison sentence. With Vito and Bert Alto's influence, Dante was suddenly released from custody without explanation. Over the course of just a few weeks, Dante graduated from stick ups to drug trafficking as he now helps run the Scaletta Family's operation between Del Sol and Monte Vista. His wife, Cipriana, is not fond of her husband's newfound travel schedule, especially given that they are expecting a second child. But the increased cash flow certainly helps.

 

(If it bothers you, remove the XLD Nevos hair file as the appearance does become distorted if you zoom out. Hair appears fine when camera is zoomed in at a certain level).

 

Carlo Mancini

 

From Sims 3 Wiki:

"Carlo Mancini is a Sim who lives in Monte Vista with his younger brother Camillo Mancini. He is a natural leader, but his father died too early, leaving Carlo all alone with too much responsibilities, including the duty to ensure his young sibling's happiness.

 

It is also said that both brothers were kicked out of their house and entirely ruined by Su Lin Chang, and this might explain the feud opposing the Mancini brother to Su Lin and her husband."

 

Having to scrape by to make ends meet as a con artist, Carlo attempted to unknowingly defraud a small social club and lounge operated by the family. Impressed by Carlo's tenacity during "questioning", Vito recruited him and Camillo to manage import/export relations and transport, forging credentials and false bills of goods as needed to facilitate the flow of drugs into America from overseas. What Carlo kept to himself, however, is the vendetta he still holds against Su Lin and her husband Marcello, the former of whom is rumoured to rub shoulders as a financier for the Simkuza, a business rival of the Scalettas.

 

Camillo Mancini

"Camillo Mancini is a Sim who lives in Monte Vista with his older brother Carlo. Their father once owned a valuable family business, yet he died, leaving the two brothers in precarity. He strongly dislikes Su Lin Chang and Marcello Stefani, who are said to have ruined them after their father's death and thrown them out of their house."

 

Young and headstrong, Camillo has jumped headfirst into this new life of notoriety. Money, women, cars, property. The young trafficker is living the life, much to the chagrin of his older brother, Carlo, who is fixated on his revenge tour against Su Lin Chang and her husband. Will his irresponsible nature blow the lid of the brothers' true intentions behind working for the family?

 

Franco Bianchi

 

From Sims 3 Wiki:

"Franco Bianchi is a Sim who lives in Monte Vista with his wife Kaela and their young son Beppe. He once wished to become a great sportsman, yet after his wedding and the birth of his son, he started to wonder if he shouldn't stop chasing rainbows and start a reasonable career...."

 

Needing to provide for his family, Franco was discovered by Tony Vecchio during a bar fight in which Franco and his mates got rough and rowdy with some heckling fans. After his career as a futbol player fizzled out due to injury, Franco joined the family with Tony as his sponsor.

 

Giacomo Modena

 

From Sims 3 Wiki:

"A newly migrated immigrant from Tartosa, Giacomo is mostly used as the family driver. Although, he does have exceptional safecracking skills, he rarely gets to use them...."

 

While he keeps out of trouble, Giacomo has grown restless since coming to America. He doesn't have many friends and barely speaks the language. He has, however, grown fond of upcoming actress, Florence Taylor, a friend of Marilyn Monroe. He struck up a conversation with Florence using his rudimentary English skills when he chaffeured the Don and his wife to a fashion event in Oasis Springs. Florence is flattered by Giacomo's infatuation; however, she is unaware of his affiliation or his occupation. Will this obstruct a blossoming relationship?

 

 

Lorenzo Ricci

 

A secondary hitman and enforcer (and gifted boxer), Lorenzo was brought in after an altercation between him and Max Scarpetti, after the latter unknowingly tried to bring Lorenzo's girlfriend home with him. Though there is still some tension between him and Max, "Larry Boy" is more than happy to collect a healthy paycheck using his physical tools in a less "athletic" capacity.

Antonio Balsamo a.k.a "Tony Balls"

 

A former associate of Vito and Joe during their rise in Willow Creek, Tony wanted back in the action since money was scarce as a result of the injuries he sustained during the Falcone-Vinci war. After reaching out to Vito through his consigliere, Bert Alto, Vito and Tony came to an understanding that the new landscape was vastly different from the pre-drug trade life they left behind. Accepting the risks, Tony started out working as basic muscle, protecting the legitimate Scaletta businesses and real estate. He now dabbles in production and distribution of product in Willow Creek, in complete secrecy to Vito's already established operation, which is led by Vincenzo Grosso.

 

Leo Caruso (A Way Out)

 

After the events of "A Way Out", Leo and his family lived in seclusion in Chestnut Ridge before being paid a visit by Nick Alto and Nicky Lips. Thinking that an old beef had finally caught up with him, it was revealed that Nick Alto had known Vincent, the cop that Leo had killed at the end of the game. In exchange for effectively burying the hatchet, Nick offered Leo an opportunity to work with the family, a decision that Vito had strenuously encouraged. Wanting security for his wife and son, Leo accepted the offer and now works as a courier transporting cargo from Chestnut Ridge to Oasis Springs.
