I didn't want to reply without giving the mod author time to respond to my questions. I still have not received any help from anywhere or found a solution to my followers struggling to detect enemies. I have noticed other people whom have my issue have the same follower framework as I do but they have skytweak, and some skytweak setting seems to cause their problem. I don't use sky tweak so I cant imagine whats wrong

If not, try in NFF to set the fighting AI for this follower to very aggressive. I don't use this framework, so no idea how to do in there. Maybe another person here can help you out, if reading this.

Maybe another person here can help you out, if reading this. already tried that, and nff won't let you set them to very aggressive, just aggressive. idk looks like im gonna have to just give up and accept the way it is. there's zero info on this matter and for some reason people never respond to this. really appreciate your efforts TIam thx for trying buddy.
ttts1 Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 Nether's defintely can make your followers less aggressive, especially when you are trying to sneak. I think this is usually very nice, followers are far too aggressive normally. But I have seen them occasionally ignore getting attack but it's pretty rare, and usually when I am sneaking. As @Tlam99 mentioned, ask on NFF's mod page as I'm not sure on the answer if the MCM settings aren't changing it for you. (I have never changed the MCM settings on aggressiveness, so I have no idea if it helps or not).

(I have never changed the MCM settings on aggressiveness, so I have no idea if it helps or not). aggression compliments my playstyle. i even deactivated their advanced sneak features just to make sure it wasn't causing an issue. i have asked on the mod page but no one has any advice for me. i wish my followers behaved like yours. they only attack if i get hit or one them gets hit i need that to change. if i can get them rushing into battle or atleast trying to find the red dots on the map im good to go

Assumed every framework got this. they don't unfortunately. i really liked this framework due to how lifelike it made followers kind of like follower live package on LE. also once your follower develops a deep enough bond with you they give you some pretty useful gifts like crafting mats and etc. but i would sacrifice that to get them battling properly again. what do you use?

Sorry for the delay. yup my settings definitely aren't causing the problem. i have noticed when in caves, and this issue only happens when i am in interiors. sometimes they aggro on all the enemies properly...sometimes in certain dungeons they wont aggro on ANYTHING and then some caves/dungeons they aggro on some enemies and they wont detect others at all...until struck...the enemy can literally be standing next to them because there are times where enemy npc's like drauger wont notices me either unless i stand right in front of them almost hugging and then they pick up on me, strike me, and my follower springs into action...then there are times they wont draw their weapons unless the enemy fully aggros on me. but sometimes they will attually aggro when they see the enemy but it is rare
