Skyrim SE modding question regarding NPC

Hello, i noticed that if i add just come corpses of NPC, they are copies.

There seems to be no switch to change their faces.

My question is, is the manual approach the only way to make different NPC's and place them in the world?

 

I am not that of a nerd, so my knowledge is limited. But what i want to accomplish is placing NPC's in the world to make Skyrim more populated.

Yes, there already mods that do that.

But i want to place male NPC's in the world. They also need some scripts to do things. But if its like Fallout, there are some buildin scripts.

 

So my questions are essentially, which way to do to accomplish that.

 

As for the faces, the only way i know is to push sliders in the menu in Creation Kit to give them different looks.
