darkdill Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I'm currently using XP32's skeleton, but the bounciness of that one on NPCs is kinda low. I'd like to see some noticeable BOING in my game's NPCs, but I suspect that the bounce factor of the skeleton I'm using is just too weak. As such, I'd like to ask how one would increase the bounce factor of a skeleton file. Is it something that can only be adjusted in 3DS Max? If so, well, I don't have that program at my disposal.
Monsto Brukes Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 anyone can get a copy of 3dsmax. In my sig. I will however say that while animation is a primary feature of the program, the hoops that you have to jump thru in order to make max animations work in skyrim make it more difficult to deal with than a bad habit. IOW it's not for the feint of heart.
Skull Tyrant Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 the skeleton doesnt control the bounce. for more bounce you need to change the weight paint on the body mesh in either blender or 3ds max, and the skeleton_female.hkx file also needs to be edited as well, but i dont know how to edit that.
D_ManXX2 Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 if 3dmax is anything like blender it is the animations who controls the bounce. if you use ik contrains you make ik use less bounce by turning the options lower called influence. setting this 1 will make full bounce making it lower means less.
