Neutral427 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 how do i boneweight a piece of clothing to have BBB? it's easy to use boneweight copy to convert a body to BBB, but when i did the same for clothing, there is serious clipping. how do modders convert clothes to DMRA with BBB without clipping?
D_ManXX2 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 They use magic wan. and say bbb convert.. No seriously did you check modders resource topic i think there are full blown tutorials for this. or even scripts that simplifies this process. http://www.loverslab.com/forum/42-modders-resources/ http://www.loverslab.com/forum/29-tutorials-guides/
Neutral427 Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 i tried looking but i can't find an exact tutorial that can be easily understood by a noob like me.. maybe someone with thorough knowledge of converting can offer some help?
gregathit Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 You have to weight paint the body and clothes to bounce the same. You can't have partial bounce on clothes and full on the body or you will have clipping as you do now. Weight painting is neither simple nor fast, unless you know what you are doing. I suggest you search the blender wiki site for info on weight painting. Please don't make multiple posts in different sections on the same question. I deleted the other thread.
Neutral427 Posted June 8, 2013 Author Posted June 8, 2013 oops sorry, i wasn't sure which was the most appropriate section to post this thread
Nephenee13 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 There isn't really an answer to the question "how do you convert clothing without clipping" its just...you have to learn. I basically taught myself how to do it just by screwing around in Blender. I guess I've gotten pretty good at it?
