Game auto unequips weapons

When I try to equip weapons (bows, swords etc.) game instantly unequips it. I can use shouts, fists and magic but not weapons.

 

First I thought maybe my mouse was acting weird. Clicked "e" to equip, even tried "player.equipitem xxx" but game still instantly unequipped it. Used favorites and spammed the favorite and attack button. Character starts the animation to unsheathe but the animation stops because of the unequip. Loaded older save. I can use my equipped weapons fine but once I unequip it I cant reequip it back. Also happens with all saves and new games. Resetting player and disable/enable player controls also didnt helped.

 

Does anyone know something about this bug?

Are you using any mods that auto equip stuff?

Are you maybe still in a quest scene?

 

Dirty key that got stuck or too much energy drink spilled on the keyboard?

Double-occupied hotkey?
