4K Black and White Cap (SS Schutzstaffel, Enclave, Blank)

This is a reupload of the now removed Nexus mod of the same name: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4644/

 

This is a simple 4K retexture mod which replaces:

• the Airship captain’s hat (black cap)
• the Sea captain’s hat (white cap)

 

...both in the following versions:

• SS Schutzstaffel (eagle/cross + skull)
• SS Schutzstaffel (eagle/cross only)
• Enclave (eagle/Enclave + skull)
• Blank (plain, no logos)

 

To get the items with the console, simply type :
player.additem 13aef5 for the Airship captain’s hat (black cap)
player.additem f6d89 for the Sea captain’s hat (white cap)

 

Installation:

1. Download the archive containing all versions
2. Edit your Fallout4.ini located in "C:\Users\Documents\my games\Fallout4":
   Change the line "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\" into "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\"
3. Extract from the archive the textures you want into: "<GAME INSTALLATION FOLDER>\Data\Textures\Clothes\Hats"
4. Enjoy!

 

Additionnal note:

If you would like the black version on the Sea captain’s hat and vice-versa, just change the file names like this:
Black to White > CaptainKellsHatBlack_*.dds to ModernCaptainsHat_*.dds
White to Black > ModernCaptainsHat_*.dds to CaptainKellsHatBlack_*.dds
