the moonshadow race  isn't changing its apearance at night time to a ghostly form like your photo shows

 

I guess you didn't read this then:

 

The race ability, Moonshadow Blossom, still works the same as before via

a potion that gives the permanent choice of whether to include the visual effects

(the Moonshadow Veil transparency from 8pm to 5am game time), by

drinking your choice of one of two potions found in nearly every inn in Skyrim:

Bah sry tobe a pain again, I seem to be having some trouble with moon shadow and chocolate elves with hair and eyes not showing up when press them with sliders, it just gives me these figures and nothing seems to be changed on actual character, i have apachii hair and sg hairs installed and they do work on other 2 races of yours.

This usually means the RaceController stalled when the game loaded. Which is odd especially for Moonshadow Elves, since I gave that RaceController a priority of 60. hmm.....

 

If this is a new character (I don't support race jumping existing characters, fyi) but for now, the solution is simple:

 

at character creation, customize what you can, name the character, then exit the racemenu. Then immediately re-enter the racemenu via the console showracemenu command. This gives the race controller a few seconds to finish loading, and should allow all options to become available.

Hi there,

 

i have trouble with the Kerran Sha´rr. When i make a new character , the male textures are black and the female textures are pink ( head ) and purple/white (rest of the body). Only the eyes and hairs are somewhat normal. I am using CBBE with bodyslide ++. My order of mods right down to TCRA and Kerran are:

Race Compatibility

TCRA

Kerran Sha´rr

 

I choose UFO and USKP when i installes race compatibility because i use Ultimate follower overhaul and Unofficial Skyrim patch ( which should be meant by UFO and USKP, right? )

The body type your game uses doesn't matter. The Kerran body is built into TCRA. It sounds as if there's some sort of conflict, or the Kerran textures folder isn't installed correctly. UFO and USKP shouldn't conflict with my races at all. BodySlide doesn't matter either, because the body meshes are UNPB.

 

Is that your full load order?

Don't even care. I equate them with Dryads. Whatever they are, amazing in my book.

New races look awesome.  I did not see a download section for the Shadowmoon elves.  Is it in this section or somewhere else please?   Thanks!

What's in the bashed patch?

 

Also, blackened textures is a sign of an old issue caused by a lack of GPU power.

 

I can only suggest that you go through and deactivate/reactivate mods to confirm the absence of a conflict.

If I wanted to replace the body for any of your races would the steps be the same? In particular, I am trying to change the Chocolate Elf's body using this method and its not being replaced.

If you know your way around the CK, switching the body is a piece of cake by creating an add-on ESP that takes care of it. If you're trying to replace it with a body type that's already in TCRA, I could make you one in about 10 minutes.

 

Fire up the CK

load required ESMs

swap armos

redirect texture set for new body type

save to a new plugin

Voila! Done.

 

It's pretty much the same process even for body types not in TCRA, except that your meshes are in a folder outside of TCRA, with new armo files created on the add-on ESP.

 

I'd make replacer ESPs for all of my races myself except, I'm in the midst of three different things at the moment:

 

building the final version of TCRA (which includes a few new texture sets and Sevennity's body replacers)

setting up the TCRA tutorial

preparing for the release of my latest race WIP

 

One thing sidetracks another until I get bored and jump to one of others. You know how it is, right?  :P

 

Anyway, I hope to have all this stuff done by next weekend, so I can get on to updating my previous races, making my own body replacer add-ons,  and a few other things I have in the pipeline  :)

Thanks for your help but I just looked at the Chocolate Elf ESM to find out that the race uses the TrykzCBBE body and made the proper nested folders. Then I copied the body meshes (ADM in case you're wondering) into the body(TrykzCBBE) folder and the body displayed without issue.

 

And no, I have no idea what you're talking about as far as getting sidetracked goes. Its not like I solved my own issue and then spent an hour "testing" the solution instead of immediately coming back here like I planned to so that I could edit my original post. Nope, that definitely did not happen.  :angel:
