Dude500X Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Hi guys, I want to use my own skyrim screenshots as well as sims screenshots in a power point presentation for an assignment. I'm just wondering, who and what do I reference for these screenshots? and do I have to? Anyone with any copyright experience know what I need to do here?
gregathit Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 If it is for a school project then it would be wise to have a note in the credits as to the game and its maker (example: screenshots from Skyrim by Bethesda). I wouldn't bother to list out any mods, as that is much more technical than you need to be for a school project. For work you would need actual permission from the game maker before using it unless it was an internal only document (meaning only showed to company employees).
Dude500X Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 Ah ok, sweet. I'll just reference the game maker and publisher. Its purely a college project and the only people who are going to see it is my tutor, my class mates and an external moderator (essentially the person who marks my work).
Captain Cobra Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 It's a presentation about the butterfly effect of porn in the vidya gaems.
Dude500X Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 safe for work. cant share file though sorry as its on a college hard drive. I am using Sims 3 to model dress codes, was going to use Skyrim as well but blasted thing needs to be reinstalled (the bsas are corrupt).
Rayblue Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Have you thought of using Poser? Being more mainstream, it's less likely to cause some copyright issues as far as screenshots are concerned. The drawback with Poser is the steep price, unless you take advantage of some college discount.
