HDT hairs crash my game

Hi, I'm using the KS Hairdos  with HDT for SE, and whenever i use one of them the game crashes a few seconds later, sometimes it's imedeately sometimes it takes around a minute, but every single one crashes my game, if i change the hair back into a non HDT one the crash doesn't occur. i have no idea what's causing this since i have all the requirements and other physics mods work like a charm.

 

Any help would be apreciated.

PS. i don't know if this matters but i use YPS

It's crashing because the nifs are probably made for SE and I'm assuming you are on LE.

HDT versions are vastly different between Skyrim editions.  I'm not even sure that HDT-PE (what KS hairs uses) is available for SSE.

No but it uses HDT-SMP, wich is listed in the section

I have no idea what that is so i'm guessing i'm not

If you haven't messed too much with it, then it's probably not causing it because it's disabled. If enabled, the core thread count of the setting, if set wrongly, could cause instability, especially under stress that hairs with a shitton of bones like hdt hairs. If you'd like to check:

Hey, I'm a bit late, but have you found anything to fix your problem? I'm currently having the same one and I'm not sure what to do with it.
