Sexlab framework not working on bare minimum clean install with Mod Organizer 2

Recommended Posts

I downloaded a fresh copy of Skyrim Special Edition because I was getting stuck with t-poses. Then I got fed up with Vortex not allowing me to change the order number and started using Mod Organizer 2.

So the basics, here is what I've installed:

  • SKSE
  • SkyUI
  • Fores New Idles (FNIS SE)
  • SexLabFramework_v162_FULL

So I've followed the directions as best as I can and I think I was using SexLab for the originak Skyrim.  I'd get a couple debug spells added though in the game's Mod menu only SkyUI. I was doing everything including running FNIS through MO2.

So then I found SexLAb SE beta here. I repeated the steps and ran FNIS through MO2 and then UI got the following error:

Error  9  Index was outside the bounds of the array.

I've spent hours at this and have literally no other mods installed. MO2 is set to some form of instance where it doesn't pollute the actually Skyrim SE folder. Some help please?

Assuming you're actually running Skyrim SE, and you have the SE version of SKSE, SkyUI, FNIS, and Sexlab, have you tried disabling Sexlab in MO2 and seeing if it gives you any errors - ie. are all the others working?  If not, you may have something more fundamental that's wrong in your setup.

If they're all working, you might also want to put in common generic bugfixes from Nexusmods before Sexlab: My build has the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, Address Library for SKSE Plugins, Mfg Fix, SSE Engine Fixes, and Bug Fixes SSE in my critical bug fixes section of all my builds (all before SkyUI, in that order...) and see if any of those help.
