Does skyrim arousal work also just by standing near eachother?

Maybe i am stupid but I read the description 3 times and also the configuration menu in-game but i didn't really understand how arousal gets modified, i find the descriptions quite poor.

 

-does arousal generally go up or down just by time passing?

-does it go up only with naked people around or also with clothed people?

-does it go up or down if me and the follower are always together, even in full armor?

 

 

EDIT: i think i found an upgrade to it, im using this now, questions still stand, it's unclear af what behaviour makes it go up and down...

I have set both me and my follower with sexy clothes, standing one in front of eachother, and waited days, the arousal just keeps going down, i don't understand why.

There's a few different versions of modern SL Aroused. Personally I use BakaFactory's edited SL Aroused Redux. Typically the only way arousal gets increased (exposure) is by an Actor seeing another actor either naked (not having an item with the keyword Armor_Cuirass or Clothing_Body), wearing "sexy" clothing (depends on the mod, typically keyword EroticArmor or a few of Baka's), or in an active Sexlab scene. 

The other way arousal goes up is from Time Rate. Essentially every time you have sex the time rate goes up, that get's multiplied by hours since last sex (or by 24, might be by day) and added to the total Arousal along with Exposure. Then there's mod like SL Interactive Arousal that can raise it with drinks, or skooma, or clothing. 

PS: Oh, typically you can just add an armour to the naked armours list in the MCM, but it's not really as good as adding keywords to the armour in xEdit. Pretty much no modded armour comes with the keywords attached since that would make SL Aroused be a master for the armour mod. Most people don't want to ask someone download a sex mod just to get their sexy armour.

Check out SLEN and Interactive Arousal:

SLEN will give NPCs a virtual sex life so every time you see them they will have different arousal and time rate. SLIA is good out the gate for the player, but the real interesting effects come from adding in a panties mod or the SLIA effect to certain clothes. Base mod tavern girls will be more hot and bothered. 

You honestly probably don't want to have armours that raise arousal unless they are very specific. By that I mean, don't set the armour you are normally wearing as Naked. Save it for some sort of lingerie. Depending on what your set up is, everyone who sees you is going to climb arousal and trigger other mods. If you have match making mods anyways. SLEN is the best option to out of the box have NPCs be varied in arousal when you see them. 

PS: Oop, I just realized this wasn't for SE. SLEN is available for LE though.

what ever calculations are behind it, at the end in appears only to go up ingame.

okay so the situation is kinda getting messy. I collected that for arousal there are the mods:

 

SLA, SLA redux (old)

SLAX (which i have now)

SLAP by bakafactory

SLEN

SLIA

 

I entered in the arousal business because i wanted to try this mod, which says it’s needed in the requirements

 

My goal was basically to have me and my follower arouse ourselves by wearing sexy armor while playing the game normally vanilla style, and have intercourse some time; which one of all these is most suited for it?

Problem is that apparently SLAX only makes arousal go up with naked people or witnessing sex; i had set our armors as sexy but nothing changed. Plus i got angry with it because some nonsense happened, i changed some parameters in puppeteer page and it didn’t keep them; i set decay time to 0 and both arousals went to 100 instantly. Tomorrow i’ll try it again but it’s either broken or not working

So. I'm not overly familiar with LE, but I'll try to use what I know about how those mods work in SE. First, you really only want to be running one version of SLA. Pretty much pick the most recently updated one for LE. I think that's SLA Redux or Extended. Pretty sure those mods both have functionality with the Erotic Armor keyword, as well as a Naked Armours list. From what I've seen in the ESM, only NPCs wearing armours with "Erotic Armor" on them cause the player and other NPCs to gain exposure. The player has to wear either nothing or a Naked Armours listed item to make NPCs gain exposure. If you are running MO2, you can pull up the My Games Folder tab to get to your Papyrus logs. In there, if you have that all set up, you should see SLA outputting exposure gains and all that. Something like "Blank gains 2 exposure for seeing the nakedness of Blank". That can help you see who's getting what. 

For the rest of it: SLAP only works on you, the player. NPCs will approach you, and I think you can allow followers too. It's a little random, but they will ask for sex or just chat.

 

SLEN will randomize SLA arousal stats for NPCs when you see them. Make sure you check the "NPCs have sex lives" in the MCM. I don't think that works for followers since you're unlikely to unload them in your game. They'll be with you all the time. But, you can talk to your followers and proposition them with SLEN. Being that you'll have some sort of friendship with them, it's a bit easier than asking random NPCs.

 

SLIA out of the box will increase the arousal of everyone who wears the Tavern Clothes, the amulet of Mara, and the amulet of Dibella, when they put them on. So once when they load in wearing it (going into the Bannered Mare for example) and any time they put it on (redressing after sex). It also raises your arousal when you drink, do drugs, pick up a statue of Dibella or read the Lust Argonian Maid (kinda funny). You could tweak the ESP and add that effect to other armours, but it's only going to raise arousal when your follower puts it on, not all the time. I've done this for Dibellan and Maran panties from Panties of Skyrim then added it to the leveled lists so some NPCs are a bit more "on" than others. 

My suggestion for what you want though is just to sleep with your followers a few times to get their time rate up. It will cut down by a third every three days or something like that (you can tweak it in the MCM), but once it's up to 30 or so then every day that NPC gets 30 arousal. Kind of kick start their libido. Then as you go about your business at the end of the day or in the morning your companions will be aroused. Keep taking care of them once or twice a day and you should have a healthy sex life. Forcing your followers to have their exposure raised by naked armour is a bad idea, in my opinion. It'll raise their arousal by 2-4 points every 20 - 30 seconds and will really get out of hand. That's why I only have people gain exposure from seeing actual nakedness and sex.
