can someone help me with my wicked whims?

i've looked thru a ton of topics and tried a few things, but have failed so far. everything was working before updating the game. now, i still get the checklist when the game first loads, but once i'm actually in and can see my sim in her house, i no longer get the purple popup letting me know WW is working, and have no WW options when i click on furniture, etc. i understand that it could be a mod that needs updating, but is there an error file or something that could help me narrow it down? is there anything else i can try? any help would be HUGE. ty so much!

This usually means Wicked isn't being loaded into game when starting up.

It might not be installed into the correct location.

Needs to be only one folder deep in Mods.

Mods/WickedWhimsMod (only 2 files in here named TURBODRIVER, one script and one package file)

All Animations should be in a folder named Wicked Animations.

If you've updated your game, which you should as WW won't work with older game versions, then you have to go into game settings/other and enable Mods & Scripts boxes.

Then Apply Settings and exit/restart.

Always delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder when you add, remove, or update Mods or Game.

You won't see any errors if WW isn't loading so you won't know if Mods need updating until WW loads and you see the purple pop up notification.

You have a more difficult problem then.

All you can do is try removing all Mods/CC except Wicked + Animations and test in game on a new game start.

(It's possible your old save game is corrupted or your sim/household is bugged).

Delete your localthumbcache again.

Don't make any new saves with Mods/CC removed just exit when done testing.

If that doesn't work try doing an Origin or Steam Game Repair next.

If you have Windows MS OneDrive installed then Uninstall it first.

Correct path for Mods is C:/Users/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/
