cuddlebong Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Is hq mod still working? I am trying to download the replacement hq files from ALF-SI 's tumblr but the google drive is private now and it wont let me download the files.. Anyone?

Guest Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 The HQ mod does as it sounds, it allows the usage of higher resolution textures within the Sims 4 for sims, their clothing, skin, accessories, etc. I wouldn't recommend using it unless you're starting with a fresh install or you don't use much CC, because once you make the necessary INI edits, content without appropriate textures won't render properly and you'll get visual bugs (though you can easily upscale the textures with a tool to fix this).

If you want to see HD textures on the Minecraft-like body and leg meshes then you're welcome. To test is our visit https://jamesturner.yt/disablepacks and disable all packs. So you need to download only the basegame HD pack and not 20 GB.
