KhajitLikeTheShiney Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 Hello. I apologize for asking something that may have already been answered, but I have been attempting to get this done, on and off, for 2 years now and have at every attempt been brought to tears at my failure to do so. I have been stifled by guides that did not specify I needed SE (I did not know what SE was at the time. I DO now have SE operating), guide that simple say you need ["single word name of mod I can never find or find multiple versions from multiple sources"] and guides that are 40 pages long, but just did not offer the support I required. If anyone could help me by: -Directing me to a guide that offers a step by step or reasonable assistance for someone totally virgin to this. -Anything you think can help My major issues with most guides is not specifying locations for mods, the procedures of when and how to use \stuff\ like FNIS, MOD order and etc. I implore your assistance.
Just Don't Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 Self promotion time https://www.loverslab.com/topic/136543-v113-mod-organizer-2-other-tools-from-zero-to-hey-sexlab-is-working/?ct=1634588227 It's 50 pages long. It has detailed step by step with, what I hope is, logical progression, reference images and direct links to everything (although I think I'll need to check for mods availability again since some things are not in the nexus anymore...). It assumes you'll use Mod Organizer 2 as your mod manager, if you go for any other mod manager most of the instructions won't make much sense. It encourages you to ask if you have any doubt or issue during the process.
KhajitLikeTheShiney Posted October 18, 2021 Author Posted October 18, 2021 Just Don't. I appreciate that link. I will check it out. hah. yes. So guides that also included mods/etc I could not locate or that were not longer available was an issue as well. 50 pages. Anyone have a good playlist or 20 for this journey....
Just Don't Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 It's that long mainly due to images and explaining things so you know what to do once you get to page 50. Otherwise it would be a compilation of links and 2 pages of "do this, now this, and done. good luck if you ever need to do something not described here". I think it can be done in a couple of afternoons (say 4-6 hours with downtimes to get some files or let some tools running). I hope you find it useful and if you have any doubts ask away.
